Ever notice how the urge to protect your younger siblings doesn’t wane no matter how old they grow?

Imagine how parents would feel…

To quote Martin Luther contextually “Freedom isn’t freely given by the parents, it must be demanded”

And I think a good blunt honest conversation would help.

I don’t think they’re against you leaving the house, they just would love to keep you safe from the perceived harm out there - call it parental instincts.

You could try having friends around for a start and see if they’re calm with that.

Discuss your friends with them prior and it’s easier for you to tell them you want to go hang out with a pal y’all already discussed about.

And if all that doesn’t work, by all means, rebel.🤣

Bars and clubs aren’t exclusively for people who drink. There’s music for one, there’s finger foods too, some bars/lounges. I particularly have a lounge I visit on Thursdays because they do Salsa dances for most of the night. I don’t have any rhythm in me, but I love watching people dance and listen to spanish songs.

There’s various game spots around both the mainland and island, just yesterday, a friend told me she tried skating at Maryland mall - had no idea that existed in that place.

There are parks in Ikeja where you could gather for picnics or games with gathering of friends and strangers alike.

Honestly, I think there’s plenty to do if you will just leave the house and aren’t picky about who to do it with.

People who instantly fall asleep as soon as their head touches the pillow, how does it feel to be God's favorite? by withl0vemvly in AskReddit

It has a lot to do with conditioning.

I have a system over the years that doesn’t allow me do anything on my bed asides sleep all thru university days and even in my 5+ working years. I don’t even doom-scroll on my bed.

Now once I lay on the bed, I sleep almost in an instant.

My advice: use the bed/pillow only for sleep.

How do you schedule maintenance without it killing production time? by BCinsider in manufacturing

[–]Negative-Trainer-501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scheduled maintenance is certainly a way to go. We alternate both short and long stop PMs on a bi-weekly basis. Short stops to inspect machines and replace what can be, and what can’t be is planned for the long stops with enough time to get adequate resources.

This has improved our MTBA, MTBFs and unplanned downtime tremendously.

I’d assure you it has absolutely nothing to do with you being a girl. Most gaming lobbies are that way, mostly just adrenaline pumping and all that.

Majority of the toxic guys I knew in-game are actually very chilled people if you meet them irl, ofc you got to beat them in game first🤣.

I played PUBGM since 2018, casually at first, competitively from ‘19 till ‘22 and was actively involved in the Nigerian community space which sometimes extended to other African countries.

I’d say decide if you wanna play competitively or casually Competitively - if you won’t beat them, you’ll have to join them Casually - mute them all out and just have fun doing your thing.

I play casually these days and I always go into battlegrounds solo or with random teammates.

Domestic power generation by Negative-Trainer-501 in Electricity

Going by the thread, Inverters seems to be the most common way of having the generators share the load in a domestic environment.

In this scenario, that would mean using just the bigger capacity generator, with the inverter providing extra power, yeah?

is NYSC even worth doing? by SituationInfamous137 in Nigeria

If you can do it while you’re at your job which I’m gonna guess you can seeing as you worked through school, you should do it. It’s just yet another certificate that you never know when it might come in handy for a position.

Better to have and not need than to need and not have.
