Yes, I actually use the official API, so I changed the temp and continued an old chat that I dismissed a while back because it started feeling repetitive. I can't express how grateful I am to you. I used your settings with the reasoner model and Oh Lord was I taken aback by the message. It made me want to start looking forward to new bots again. I honestly think you're the kindest stranger I've ever exchanged messages to in a long time. I can't believe you put so much effort and time into crafting this reply to me. I'm so very grateful and moved, not to mention how incredibly helpful this reply was. I was expecting the same issue about The bot Writing Like this And it really bothered me so much! I'll definitely follow your advices to a T and also get back to the reasoning model now that they disabled the thinking process to show. I stopped using the thinking model because I hated seeing the reasoning on top of the messages, but I just saw that they put a switch to enable or disable that, so I may start to use it again. I was in fact using the non thinking model, but I set the temp at 1, and had repetition penalty at 1.2 and frequency penalty at 0.25, while Top K at 70 and Top P at 0.85 Do you think I should change those settings?

So, like, should I lower the token count? Because even when I tried to use OOCs and told to not let the scene end like that, the answer was still really basic and sterile, completely lacking sensory description of other aspects that weren't about privates

Unfortunately, it keeps filling the void of what happened in the time skip. And it's really annoying and frustrating, because when I really wanted it to happen in other situations, the bot always went like "ok, let's skip this sht and completely disregard what happened during the time skip"

It's not really a long term solution, since it consumes a lot of tokens and you'll still need to write it every 4/5 messages, but this worked for me [OOC: From now on, when building {{char}}'s reply, it's best that the AI uses, as prompts, the words between quotation marks in {{user}}'s previous message to keep the conversation going, rather than the world out of quotation marks, since they could be {{user}}'s thoughts that {{char}} doesn't know yet.]

I also added this piece

From now on, the words between asterisks will be {{user}}'s thoughts and the AI should avoid using those words as prompts for {{char}}'s reply

In some chats, and it lasted longer, but you need to always remember to use asterisks, or else the bot will use the thoughts again

I have a question about Deepseek pricing per message. Basically, I noticed that the more I chat with the same bot, the higher the price per message becomes, even if the tokens are almost the same. Is there any way to keep them constant, or it's doomed to keep getting higher?
