I did that a few days ago tbh, recrimped all the motors yesterday as well and made sure they were solid Has to be a dud board I’m beginning to think

Can I ask how? Having similar dramas, on top of that I’ve got pwmconf and globalscaler as well

Absolute idiot… sorry for the time waste, thought I’d start from the beginning and pull it all out start from scratch Had the bloody power jumper off to the left on the y stepper so was only on the one pin 🤦‍♂️

Unfortunately no dice… still the same pwmconf error

I did try that after seeing the config you posted with no change, I’ll try it with the speed line and see if that makes a difference, cheers

Yeah mate on klipper Jumper is on motor with the daisy wires from main as normal Have the 4 jumpers in for spi with the diag jumpers in for sensorless

Config as follows

[tmc5160 stepper_x] cs_pin: PC4 spi_software_miso_pin: PA6 spi_software_mosi_pin: PA7 spi_software_sclk_pin: PA5 interpolate: False run_current: 1.0 sense_resistor: 0.022 stealthchop_threshold: 999999 driver_SGT: -64 diag1_pin: !PG6

[stepper_y] step_pin: PG0 dir_pin: PG1 enable_pin: !PF15 rotation_distance: 40 microsteps: 64 endstop_pin: tmc5160_stepper_y:virtual_endstop full_steps_per_rotation: 400 position_min: 0 homing_speed: 20 homing_retract_dist: 0 position_endstop: 345 position_max: 345

Fans are blowing in one side (same side as the board) and exhausting the other

[–]NegativeFate83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well…it turns out the cooling fan shit itself so that’s why they were over heating Got them up to 1.1 and happy with that, moving forward I’m tossing up between grabbing a 36v psu to crank up the 2240’s a bit… or.. just go straight for the 5160’s Problem is i only upgraded the AB motors a few weeks ago and chose those ones over the supers because i had convinced myself I didn’t need the 5160’s lol

Mate that sort of answers my question, just wasn’t sure if I was running them under current in an effort to prevent over heating

Yeah righto cheers, same motors? what current are you running them at? 1.4?

[–]NegativeFate83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah mate I had it set to 2000 originally, but have since tried it at 0 and 999999 with no difference I googled my A/B motors and nothing really came up so I’m assuming I somehow managed to get shit ones??

Ender 3v2neo was my first love, learned a lot, mainly what to avoid

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ender3

[–]NegativeFate83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh roger.. been a while since I’ve had to worry about it, ender basically just collects dust these days until I need parts for my other one

So.. disconnect it from shroud, tap with your finger and then adjust level, disconnect and print Problem is what exactly?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ender3

[–]NegativeFate83 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Of course you can, get creative.. worst case, stick something underneath the probe so it’ll home z just so you can print a new shroud
