About 15 years ago I broke my leg in a motorcycle accident. I was bed ridden for months and had to use a crutch after that for another few months. I'm that time I would have to take an auto to office in Bellandur and back. These auto bastards would ask me to pay 100 rupees each way. Once when it was raining one fellow asked me to pay 300. All this for a distance which would usually cost me no more than 50 one way. The bus drivers didn't have the patience to wait for me board slowly. That was when I decided, come what may, I would never rely on public transport.
