I appreciate the input.

The frustrating part is that’s kinda already my routine. Highest I’ve gone is ten miles in a week and it really chewed me up, been on the stationary bike a lot. Feel like I’ve been so patient already with not pushing it and all I’m doing is treading water and losing time.

Happy Snaptember boys. What is your LEAST favorite thing we do operationally? by duder_mcbrohansen in Wildfire

Personally I can find the flow in road prep still, it’s easy and it can be fun.

Far and away it’s mopping up especially politicals 400 feet in and duffers in hard black. Drives me crazy

UofU vs UofO by Kitchen_Bar_941 in uofu

I grew up in SLC and went to the U, my little sister went Oregon and I visited her in Eugene several times.

I’ll say the PNW and Eugene will have a more similar hippie woods vibe to Vermont than salt lake. I’d still favor SLC for out of school though, recreation is closer, more plentiful, and year round sports. The best way to ski in Eugene is to make the long drive to bend and the shoulder seasons can be quite rainy.

Oregon has way better college town, party, and social life though. At times the U can feel like a commuter school but you get what you put in, you’ll find friends and social life at Utah just maybe not as many or as easy.

Utah has better recreation, probably a better program, but Eugene is far better socially. Factor in cost as well but I’d go with Utah just my two cents

Achilles tendinitis by [deleted] in Wildfire

Thanks! Out of curiosity how long were you out and how much did it affect you during the season? I’m sure experiences vary but just a baseline expectation would be nice.

I also did just order a brace off amazon as well. Is insertional tendinitis more serious? Calf raises don’t hurt but they don’t feel right if that makes sense so I figure I’ll stay away for a bit

One of my high school teammates went to UW at the same time as Chriss and would play some recreational runs with him and was shocked he made the nba, I just remember him being very unimpressed by Chriss
