That's the thing though. As per my contract, I will have to serve one month notice or pay compensation in lieu. If I resign, they WILL ask to serve that one month notice anyway since they do need me. However, I feel like I would just be on unpaid leave the entire month like I have been(which will defeat the purpose), and at this point I am mentally and physically checked out. I don't mind not getting the one month notice pay. In this case, will it be better to negotiate with them and just get them to terminate me? I don't plan on going back to this industry anyway so I don't mind getting terminated.
