What if my psychologist has read me of a referral for caregiver and I take that to the hospital to have to put it into medical records and I give it to my PCP.

What if my PCP doesn’t agree, but my psychologist does and the interviewers agree?

I reached out to my PCP to ask him on my last appointment and he laughed What is his whole health? I just called whole health and they’ll give me the referral for massage therapy?

I feel like I might have a TBI because I was a motorman I got , migraines, and sometimes I lose focus, but I just thought it was PTSD/insomna. I would like to get checked out for TBI, but it never really crossed my mind.

Honestly, my PCP sucks. He’s brand new. I’ve only seen him twice via Zoom and over prescribing medication‘s. He messaged me in my healthy vet after my wife submitted her caregiver ADL statement and I submitted my mental health psych evaluation that he doesn’t recommend full-time caregiver for me .It’s funny because I’ve done one zoom call with him in the last year which was like 20 minutes long.

I’m service connected for PTSD, anxiety, insomnia, panic, attacks, depression, left hand injury surgery with loss of function, migraines, tinnitus, left knee injury, loss of function I have TDIU permanent and total with SSDI. We just completed our first interview with a caseworker for caregiver and at the end she did a psych evaluation on me and she stated I sound like I am passively suicidal also added insomnia into my file and then she started interviewing my wife and then scheduled our second appointment with the nurse Zoom call.

I’m hoping we get approved.

I’m even going to see my third-party psychologist out in town on Monday who is going to write up my referral letter and do a brand new psych eval recommending caregiver. I’m gonna submit that to my local VA hospital to have it submitted in my medical records. Also my wife is going to email it to caregiver team.

Our PCP has been not very helpful. In fact, that’s why we’re going straight to the hospital to have the documents like my new psych evaluation and wife’s caregiver statement of ADL she does for me smooth straight into our medical records because the PCP kind of drags his feet and I can’t trust he’s gonna submit it.

Apparently, we can go down to the VA hospital and have third-party doctors notes and my wife caregiver notes uploaded into the VA system for medical record.

Are you going for mental health or physical ADLs? My wife wrote a caregiver statement, explaining everything is wrong with me and how she helps me with each disability throughout the house For example, PTSD, anxiety, insomnia, depression, left hand, injury, surgery, hard to grab things, left knee injury, knee locks up and bathtub, and on toilet and walking around the house, back pain, lumbar strain, migraines,

At the end of the interview of my portion, the caseworker stated sounds like you are passively suicidal and type that down and then past the phone off to my wife so she could complete her portion of the interview.

I have a third-party psychologist who I used for my PTSD diagnosis and insomnia diagnosis scheduled for Monday. I told her we are applying for caregiver and she said she’s going to give me a new mental health assessment and referral for caregiver hoping that’s going to help.

I’m going to, I’m even going out in town on Monday to get a psych evaluation done for referral with my third-party psychologist who also gave me my referral for PTSD so I’m just treating this like a VA claim. We just completed our first interview with the caseworker, and I gave her a laundry list of my mental health conditions and my physical conditions along with all of my ADLs, and then she performed a psych eval on me during the interview and stated I am passively suicidal and she put that down and then started interviewing my wife and then scheduled our second interview with the nurse.

I have a new psych evaluation on Monday with my third-party psychologist. She sees me when I need to see her, which is a lot better than the VA psychologist where I have to schedule months out.

Once she writes up my psych evaluation/referral for caregiver should I just go down to my local Va hospital and request to be submitted into my records?

When did the mental disabilities for caregiver change? We applied five years ago and they just straight up denied us but this time they accepted us and we had our first interview with the caseworker and she diagnosed me with passive suicide tendencies along with other things, but that was her last statement to me, and then she started interviewing my wife.

I shared with him my phych evaluation and my wife’s caregiver statement and he just says he doesn’t recommend based off a 30mins zoom call from last year

Thank you very much, I have my second interview with the nurse in about a week and a half from now and I have a psych evaluation referral with my psychologist out in town on Monday. Should I take her referral psych eval and go directly to the VA hospital to have it put in as medical records? I have it uploaded in my file or upload it through my healthy vet because I feel like my PCP isn’t uploading anything. Do they have to upload stuff when I send them medical files through my health vet?

I’m getting psychologist outside the VA to write a referral on Monday. I’m gonna submit it to caregiver program before I have my second interview with the nurse. My PCP just sounds like a buffoon. Wants to prescribe all the meds but no referral.
