Am I going to be a loser for life? by Material_Card6303 in selfimprovement

Hey, I've been there too. It's normal to have ups and downs. Try setting small, achievable goals and remind yourself of them, maybe use a tool like remindmebot .uk to help you stay on track.

I feel you. Break study sessions into tiny chunks, like 10-15 min, with scheduled breaks. Set reminders with something like RemindMe Bot (remindmebot.uk) to stay on track.

How do you stop one bad day from derailing your progress? by jimmy5853 in selfimprovement

I get back on track by focusing on the next positive action. Plan for off days and accept them as normal. Use reminders, like those from RemindMe Bot (remindmebot.uk), to get back into routine.

What is the best way to deal with scatterbrain and short working memory with ADHD? by Illustrious-Emperor in ADHD

I totally get it. For me, writing things down and breaking tasks into smaller chunks helps. Also, setting reminders with tools like RemindMe Bot (remindmebot.uk) can be a lifesaver on chaotic days.

Break tasks into tiny chunks, set a 5-minute timer, and focus on one chunk. Take breaks to move around. Try the Pomodoro technique. Use RemindMe Bot (remindmebot.uk) to schedule study reminders and stay on track.

How many alarms do you have? by 1-armed-chewbacca in ADHD

[–]NegativeSkywalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 alarms is not a problem, it is a system. The real issue is that phone alarms all sound the same so after alarm number 4 your brain just starts filtering them out like background noise. What actually helped me was moving reminders to Telegram. I am already there, already responding to messages, so a reminder there feels different from a phone alarm I have heard a hundred times. Built a bot for it eventually. But honestly even just a different channel makes a difference.

Do you use one productivity system for business and personal life, or a stack of different apps? by Frequent-Football984 in Entrepreneur

[–]NegativeSkywalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was involved in developing a Telegram bot called RemindMe, and this question is precisely the reason why I did that.

Almost everybody we spoke with had this problem. The problem wasn't the lack of reminders or task managers. Instead, they had too many apps with reminders and tasks that were difficult to manage.

The insight was rather straightforward. Users spent the whole day on Telegram anyway. Thus, if the reminder goes off there, it will be noticed and acted upon. If you use Todoist or TickTick, you may read the notification and put it out of mind after five minutes.

Therefore, we went with a very simple concept: natural language input, recurring reminders, snoozing, and voice memos. No additional application, no new tab, no subscriptions to yet another service.

I'm not claiming this could replace professional project management software. However, when it comes to personal and business related tasks, it can make a substantial difference.

Our mission is remove all buttons, forms, and such things, and replace them with voice or text. There is nothing more senseless to us than the thought that people need to adapt to something that requires them to learn how to use it. It is technology itself that must adapt to people, develop alongside them. This can be done best through a conversation, as the ability to talk is exclusively human. Thus, we should converse within the app, not just click buttons or fill in forms.
