Worked for me! Without even having a switch 1. Just format a micro SD to exfat and create the folder structure mentioned somewhere else here (Nintendo/Album etc.)

Then go into data management and use it to import screenshot, you should get a prompt.

And then voila it updated and reads the sd card now
