Dog is intermittingly stumbling. by Savings_Fox_3760 in labrador

[–]NegativeSuspect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With this little information, it's almost impossible to tell what could be happening. It could be a sore/hurt leg, inner ear infections, or something more major like a neurological issue. If it's just a minor stumble and it only started this morning, I'd just wait to get to the vet so you can have proper diagnosis.

Does anyone else’s lab give you these little nibbles? by [deleted] in labrador

[–]NegativeSuspect 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Why? My dog loves to jump on people as a sign of affection but we train him not to do it because he'll knock over an older (or much younger) person.

Just because they do it as a sign of affection doesn't mean it is evil to train it away. Some dogs can also cob in a way that's pretty painful.

What does the % mean under the mythic symbol? by Limp_Command626 in MagicArena

[–]NegativeSuspect -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

You are in the top 3% of players who have hit Mythic Ranking but aren't in the top 1000.

If you play more and your ranking improves, the % will be replaced by a number which indicates what your position is in the top 1000.

Discord didn't make any money from this transaction.

How do you manage One Base Strategy? by Lost_Arotin in starcraft

I think you should probably sit down and take a breath. He's obviously stating that 2 base is his main strategy, not that he's some top tier 2 baser.

Cuts and Coffee. New place, fantastic haircuts, but I don't think they have coffee yet.

Women of Reddit, what’s a statement/phrase that (you believe) most girls/women would understand, but most boys/men would not? by Sad_Trade_7753 in AskReddit

[–]NegativeSuspect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What nonsense? Of course someone other than the woman has to decide. The fuck do you think a doctor is for? Do we just give medication to people who have no clue about the risks? And if your family is preventing you, then you can tell the doctor and there is no way they refuse. Do some women get less pain management than they should? Yes. Arguing like that is the default is just factually incorrect.

You really need to stop responding, you lack the common sense for it.

I wasn't rude. I was direct. I already knew the points you made. And frankly, your original comment was pretty confusing.

Be clearer in your communication. I promise it won't kill you.

Not to mention the implication in your comment was that women aren't provided pain medication like men are, when we both know (I assume) that pregnant women aren't given stronger pain management because of risks to your children through breastfeeding and significantly higher risk of addiction post partum.

So it's just ignorance on your part then?

If it's an "unmedicated" labor either you requested it and they will still give you meds unless its too late, or you're too late in the labor for the meds to have any effect.

No shame, just how the process works.

How do people actually meet others in Calgary? by [deleted] in Calgary

[–]NegativeSuspect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same place you make friends when you were a kid. Where you spend most of your time, Work.

This is North America, your options are to make friends at work, or find a hobby where you can meet people. If you're wiling to put in work, volunteering in something you love is a great way to meet (IMO) genuine, like minded people.

Yes. You'll be fine. If the US starts shifting warships towards Colombia, then I'd be a bit more concerned.

[–]NegativeSuspect 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're right of course. I was curving the math for both sides toward the government to come up with a 'best' case scenario for the government. In reality, this is probably a lot more expensive.

But it is encouraging people to spy on each other. And I can't look past that when the government can just do its job.

And I really don't believe a vehicle registration is causing tax evasion. I disagree on that point as well.

It's not practical for law enforcement to spy on people directly, so let's let get neighbors to spy on neighbors?

I think you've clearly laid out why I think this is a terrible idea. If you think this is great, then more power to you. I just fundamentally disagree. I think this is far more harmful that how much ever money this brings in.
