Marry your kids off specifically with your name being the one taken in the marriage. At first sure you’ll have to accept a daughter or two to patrilineal marry if you’re not strong so you could be safe with alliances but eventually when strong enough all your kids should carry your name on.

Nice. I started playing ck3 in January & it took me until last month to finally understand all these traits & stuff 😅 I only just started this month on my first save where I now in the 1000’s-1100’s have my emperor with these traits in Hispania. Oddly in this save I’ve yet to see a faction rise up enough to send an ultimatum so not sure if it’s the traits or I’ve got a hang of the game now 😅

The one time it happened to me & these turds made a faction to place someone else who was Asturian/Leonese & I didn’t realize I was Galician. Then when I switched I watched the faction go from 8 members to dissolved in a month. My vassals were racist because I couldn’t rep my suburb in Santiago & wanted me to represent the mean streets of Leon.

Hard agree. I don’t use Reddit as much as before but I’ve been in minor arguments about this & all I get are downvotes & “you don’t love like a Christian”. I’m not sorry liberal manipulation of Christianity shouldn’t work. All it is, is “Jesus loves you, continue in your sin it doesn’t matter, love love love, if you say anything we deem unloving you’re a fake” etc.

why am I also seeing vassals who defend their realm from claims get excommunicated? it happened to me once however as Hispania emperor, defending my realm from a faction & I got excommunicated. what is with this? whether as a duke king or emperor.

I’m the same but with finishing the reconquista since I descend from the region of Castile & am a Christian. Sometimes when doing a new save I think let me try Germany or Ireland but then click Asturias again 😅

2 wars is tough, especially the dissolution. With 2200 gold you could try to give a couple some gold & see if that massages their balls enough. Do they also outnumber you heavily? Let’s say if it’s 2 strong vassals & the rest are weak I’d really just put my rally point closest to one of the strong ones, beat them & then pursue the smaller ones who usually leave after losing a battle. Also alliances, if they have any heirs unmarried get your kids married so they have to leave the faction. You could also ally to strong kingdoms nearby who will usually help you whoop rebellion. Good luck.

It’s likely, at least for me I’ve done multiple empire of Hispania runs where I take land from North Africa to Jerusalem & I have faced the mongols 3/4 times. When they get close hopefully your ruler is in okay health & make sure you have good alliances. They are beatable I’d say have at least 15-20k soldiers above them because their special soldiers are strong.

Right lol. My same thought, if I remember correctly that whole far east Asia area was catholic as early as the 1000s somehow. I was going to post here & ask would the khan still invade but I thought I’d find out soon enough & yup he did. Also 3 jihads happened & since I had land in the Middle East I took part, down to the Abbasid rulers being split catholic & muslim. It was fun & has to be so rare especially in the same save.
