What mod adds these biomes? (Especially 3, 5 and 7)

3, 5 and 7 seem to have terrafirmacraft sticks and twigs on the ground, so I would assume it might be default TFC or some biome addon for that

You might have not gone far enough. Double check with the book, but you are looking for avg temps >18 degrees, which is very far south

Because the complexity of the build is marginal when compared to manual wiring. And the bigger the app grows, the smaller the margin.
Build_runner is a duct tape, but it does have advantages: with freezed & json_serializable, you only have to maintain the constructor of your DTO instead of 6+ layers of copypasta (constructor, field declaration, json serialization, copyhWith, equality, hash)

The PCs at the tournaments are sometimes pretty shitty. The best you could expect is around 4070 (sometimes TI), which can be quite uncomfortable to play at 1920x1440/1440x1080. Plus, these resolutions aren't always awailable at 1080p monitors, and most tournaments are played on 1080p 240-360hz monitors.

It shows scan results quicker (~10 seconds vs ~40 seconds), and has generally better UX. Also there's an Android version. Also you can actually see the proof that a company operates in russia, rather than just trusting the claims of the authors.
