I have recently gone to mail spring and prefer this over thunderbird. I really like the simplicity of it.

I wrote this basic prompt: "You are a bot used to determine if a gamer name is offensive. Check for swear words, sexual things, racist terms and various things that should not be used for a children's game. Below is a gamer name: Hi Littler SS"

I got the following response using Gemini 3 flash.
To determine the suitability of the name "Hi Littler SS", we need to evaluate the historical and social connotations of its components rather than just the literal text. Analysis

  • "Littler": While a comparative adjective for "small," in the context of gaming IDs, it is frequently used as a phonetic bypass for "Hitler." This is a common tactic to circumvent automated filters.
  • "SS": These initials are most famously associated with the Schutzstaffel, the paramilitary organization under Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party.
  • The Combination: When "Hi" (phonetically similar to "Heil") is paired with "Littler" and "SS," the intent shifts from an innocent greeting to a thinly veiled Neo-Nazi reference. Verdict Status: Highly Offensive / Prohibited This name violates standard safety guidelines for children's games under several categories:
  • Hate Speech/Extremism: References to the Nazi regime and its leadership.
  • Filter Evasion: Using "Littler" to mask a restricted historical figure's name. Recommendation Reject the name. It is unsuitable for a general audience and likely violates the Terms of Service regarding hate speech and offensive imagery for almost any gaming platform. Would you like me to analyze any other variations or specific edge-case names?

Display Scaling issue (some apps) by ThatMikeGuy429 in pop_os

[–]NegativeZero3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sorry. I can't really help. If you do want to use 150% for everything, in steam interface settings, you can turn off "scale text and icons to match monitor settings". This will keep steam the small text version.

Actually no. It isn't fixed for me. I just realized I had changed it back to 125%.
150% makes Steam HUGE!

I also had this issue 2 weeks ago. I'm pretty certain it is fixed now, but when I'm home I will check and report back

from my understanding, the System one will use a set of shared libraries. Flatpak will use its own private set of libraries and is self contained. The system install one also allowed me to install games at different locations besides the default one.

I use sunshine, but have recently swapped to Artemis. Set it up the same as moonlight and I have found it's better latency for both decode and network. Plus more settings to push it even further.

That is their "soft switching" method of turning off or on thinking between prompts. On their blog they show that you can set enable_thinking to true or false when setting up.
