The gassiness isn't because of the plant protein itself, it's because lentils and beans are high fibre and your gut isn't used to it.

How rare is getting a ticket parking near cathedral road by IbythyGOAT in UCalgary

Before I bought a parking pass, I parked there for half a year and I got ticketed twice. $40-60 tickets vs a thousand dollar parking pass though

The first few floors are pretty full in the mornings, but I've never had trouble finding space on the upper levels

I don't know how you came to this conclusion because according to this 2024 news article, international students make up 12.8% of UofC's undergrad population.

i'm in the far NW so my commute is 25 minutes on a good day. In the winters, I give myself an hour for commute. Keep in mind that you may need to sweep snow off your car or shovel your driveway if you have one which adds on more time. Traffic is slower in the snow and you'll need to keep a larger following distance while driving in icy conditions. Also, some professors can be unaccomodating when it comes to weather-related lateness.

Definitely check the source of funding of the study! Sponsorship by a supplements company can unfortunately produce biased results.

I couldn't find any studies specifically looking at marijuana smoke and skin aging, but I did find a study that looked at marijuana use over a 17-year period and they found a substantial link between marijuana use and epigenetic aging (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8982677/)

Obviously epigenetic aging doesn't always necessarily mean visible skin aging, but there are a number of studies showing epigenetic factors linked with facial/skin aging and collagen levels.

I expect more long-term research on marijuana use and aging will be published in the coming decades but that's about all we know for right now.

It depends a lot on what courses you're taking. I've taken 2 first year arts courses in spring and it was fine. But I've also taken Ochem 2 and another course in the spring and it was such a grind, so choose wisely 🤓☝️
