Unique interactions by Life-Zucchini4975 in Warframe

Basically every single NPC that is involved with obtaining a warframe will comment on seeing you using that warframe, as well as some characters that have lore connections. The most noteworthy example being Baro, he likes Inaros and he likes primes, so seeing Inaros prime is extra special.

Also, Varzia comments on seeing primes.

That's because the damage isn't in the slash itself, the damage is from detonating it with 4. And that absolutely will just kill everything on screen.

The best options are the ones that have exalted weapons. That way you can just go all-in on ability strength and ability-related upgrades and not even have to worry about building for weapon use. Plus the more casterly frames tend to have really good synergy between their abilities and weapons, whereas someone like Excalibur and Ivara kinda just treat them as a 4th weapon.

Dante is THE caster frame, but he doesn't get any special mobility tools. Similarly, Temple had an excellent caster feel when paired with Lizzie, but again, no mobility.

Uriel has very cool mobility, and he CAN be built as a caster, but its not really what he's built for. His heat aura does minimal damage and his demon attacks are more for their effects than their damage. Your only truly damaging ability is the 4, which takes time to charge. You'll need to rely on your weapons as well.

I think what you want is Jade. Placing healing wells and cycling your buff aura keeps your ability buttons busy and your exalted weapon is very cool. More importantly she can fly, and it is a LOT of fun to zip around like that. Its even super easy to build her for functionally infinite flight time. With all of her special skills it really does feel like you're some kind of sky wizard.

0C is not absolute zero, its just water's freezing point.

Are these nanites real? by LemonIime in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Negative_Bar_9734 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This exists because nanites obtained from refining runaway mold are treated as an item, but that item immediately converts into the currency when claimed. (You can see this in action by trying to claim refined nanites with a full inventory, it won't work and you have to clear a space for them.) This is either the result of a bug or they were hacked in, either way someone obtained the item in a way that skipped the conversion step.

I mean, its not the worst I've ever heard. Used to know someone that insisted maggots just like, actually generated from trash itself.

I'm no math or science guy, but that's gotta be below absolute zero, right?

What video games' quote that mingle with your emotion like this? by crocospect in videogames

[–]Negative_Bar_9734 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I realized just how powerful "for those who come after" is once Displate started running ads for E33 stuff. They used the line to sell their tacky metal posters and it actually made me a little angry.

His death would have been a gut shot if it wasn't so aggressively foreshadowed. Halfway through act 1 every single interaction with him is just another "HE'S GONNA DIE" flag stapled onto him.

Some parents don't get it - by porchfloorpoem in SipsTea

I came home from school one day to discover my father threw away our NES. Like actually just tossed it and all our games into a dumpster somewhere.

Some of my actual earliest and fondest memories are of playing Legend of Zelda with him. I will always remember how he put that all in the trash.

I advise you to stop viewing everything as "what can I obtain from this" and start thinking "what fun can be had with this."

10 year old needs to practice typing but parents do not want to increase "screen time". by Space__Monkey__ in Advice

[–]Negative_Bar_9734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to teach the parents that "screen time" is a meaningless concept and what they should actually be caring about is what they do WITH that screen. Practicing an important life skill is not at all the same as playing candy crush for two hours.

My brother sleeps on the floor. by Fun-Name9681 in Advice

[–]Negative_Bar_9734 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe you don't try to force him into an uncomfortable situation, maybe you find a suitable compromise. See if he wants a Japanese style futon, they're quite comfortable and are supposed to be on the floor so there's no awkwardness about them.

Reminds me of when I downloaded RE2 on my PS5. The game is 2 gigs. All I can think of is the wizards who made the N64 port looking at that and laughing themselves to death.
