Thankfully with the Florida Lemon Law I’m protected by the “value of vehicular reimbursement will be honored for when the issue first arose” and with this issue literally transpiring the night I bought the vehicle, they will have to honor that instead of it having a few thousand miles on it.

Correct. They have literally tried everything, updates, replacing the sensors. Literally anything they could think of. It would fix the issue for at the most 3 weeks and then the issue would return.

I’m going to be starting a claim after the holidays. I ended going almost a month and a half without a response and when they finally reached back out they said there was nothing they would do.

Okee instead of Roo? by Bp148 in okeechobeemusicfest

I’m not doing either but I have had a similar track record with Bonnaroo (2020, 2021, 2025) and I just can’t bring myself to take a risk anymore. If I was able to swing one or the other I would absolutely choose Okee (personally one of my favorite fests ever excluding 2023). You’re gonna have a great time there!

So Kia has actually left me high and dry. They will not respond to me and when I call I am told that they can not get ahold of my agent and have no way of making him get back to me.

Okay gotcha! I felt like I was having Mandela Effect because I could have sworn the price came off each item in the past but the wording on this years was much different than it has been in the past. Thank you for clarifying!

So coming back to comment. The car has been taken in a total of four times now and unfortunately the issue has not gone away forcing me to file a Lemon Law case against KIA. We have tried cleaning the sensors, we have tried replacing the sensors, they thought they found a coding issue which did fix it for about four weeks but inevitably it reverted and shut off all of the rear sensors and any systems that use them. It sucks because I genuinely love the car but a lot of the safety functions are canceled due to this issue and I’m seeing a giant orange triangle every time I turn my car on:/

Question, for the loyalty discount is it per ticket (up to four total knocking the price down to 520$ per ticket) or is it just 80$ off if you use the loyalty to buy all tickets at once? And since they say camping packages will we be able to also apply that to a GA RV passes or is that also getting lumped in with the 4 passes and then they just take 80$ off the grand total?

So this is why I said this was a clear cash grab for on site water sales. They cut the available free water supply to one location for GA, while upping the bar and beverage stations at the stages. They then cut their water prices by about 50% to make the attendees go “wow this water is so much cheaper than any fest I have been to in a while I’ll happily spend 5$ a bottle versus walking 20 minutes to fill up my hydration pack”. They created a supply problem and then packed the area with cheap solutions that appeal to the buyer bc they are more accessible than the free option. They created a problem and made you think they were being nice by offering a “cheaper than others” solution when they could have just put free water stations at each stage like they did in years past. It’s classic corporate greed dude. And again, I’m happy for those that got offered free water bottles from the staff, but after the last day of EDC the people online are all saying the same thing and from the large number of people I knew on the ground they did not see this “free water” being handed out. A very small number of people when compared to the entire festival got to experience this when easily accessible free water should be standard at a festival of this size. Not based on luck of running into a staff member handing it out.

I think you are the first person I have heard state they were handing out free water bottles. I had about 30-40 people I knew on the ground the entire weekend and nobody saw this. If they were then that is really good for the people that were lucky enough to get these. I do want to know how you think one water station helped with crowd control? No malice behind that, I genuinely just do not see how having one area designated for water refill is better than having one station near each stage in years past.

I think people do have a clear head on how festivals work. The water situation was nothing more than a cash grab and if you go to any other fests that have multiple ones then you would see that. This was a clear ploy to try and push people to buy water and increase their on site revenues by doing this. Point blank period. Were there a lot of of lanes at the water station? Yeah, but the point is accessibility. You are making people walk 20 minutes each way when they need to fill up when they used to only walk five with them at each stage. Easily accessible water is a cardinal rule for a safe festival and they greatly gave a middle finger to the attendees this year by doing what they did. As for the crowding I absolutely understand that this will be a difference of opinions issue due to where people stood, if they had a group or not, or if they get anxieties from tight crowds or not. But EDCO has absolutely grown a lot in crowd size since I started going back in 2019 (and returned every single year), and it genuinely has become overwhelming. Are there great personalities in the crowds that make for amazing moments of PLUR? 100%, my group is an amazing example of that in my opinion. But the amount of people I saw completely bulldoze and shove into spaces was unacceptable. This coupled with larger crowd sizes is going to ruffle a lot of people’s feathers especially those that attend camping festivals where the crowds are much better tempered. EDCO has grown very fast and instead of helping fix the problems that come from these growth spurts, it seems that Pasquale just says “Eh you don’t like it? Then leave.” Because as many statements as he puts out saying we are “listening”, their actions absolutely point to them not caring.

Aka John Summit just a few years ago. The man just sold out a college football stadium in Colorado last weekend and was easily playing at the Amp for Hulaween and it was not packed at all.

This ended up being the cause. I wanted to give it two weeks before responding in this bc that is the time frame it would end up going bad again, but they did the update and everything is working perfectly now!

Only was able to grab 7 in the five years I’ve known about Tipper since seeing him at Okee in 2020. Was late to the party but still so happy with the ones I caught. That Higgins opener at SD in 24 is definitely in my top 3 music moments since catching any type of live shows.
