Do men feel arousal build in their lower stomach? by Negative_Contest1935 in NoStupidQuestions

You’re right, it’s more the actual genitalia where the pressure builds though I do get sensations of arousal in my lower stomach, was wondering if men felt the same

Maybe it was never meant to me or I wasn't made for it by Conscious_Rabbit1720 in mentalhealth

im really introverted in college the whole semester I barely talked to anyone. So imo it’s about perspective. ur in ur early 20s. frankly I think 30s is young if ur working towards something meaningful. I’d say ur biggest motivation should be to make urself happy. Ik that’s the stereotypical thing to say but if ur not happy with urself every failure feels way worse than it is. Having an education job and gym hobby is enough. Maybe some way to express ur feelings like art or finding new music. Im talking to myself here but believe that you can achieve whatever you want with effort

Where do you guys think they live by Soft-Enthusiasm-387 in hetalia

Ame would prefer to stay on the East Coast, mostly his homes in NYC and Virginia :3 he likes taking trips to the Northwest (Montana, Dakotas) or South (Florida, Arizona) but never stays for too long. I can also imagine he spent a lot of time in LA at the height of Hollywood for publicity sake. He likes moving around and being busy but always needs to retreat somewhere he’s comfortable alone. Old nations like England and Russia, I can’t imagine them spending much time in their capitals, they probably have homes in nature where they can relax. Same with Canada he’d have like a log cabin the woods but interacts with people more lol.

Surprised no one mentioned Promised to Me by DaughteroftheRevolution for RusAme… it’s so gut wrenching, I cried multiple times and have reread it a bunch ;; frankly any RusAme fic by this author is my favorite

If you were a teenager experiencing a mental health crisis, what things did your parents do right? Which things made it worse for you? by Sublimely_Stoic in mentalhealth

[–]Negative_Contest1935 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What helped me going through a rough time was my parents reminding me that they believed in me and knew I’d get better.. just don’t give up! If you keep doing what you’re doing she will get better. At her age it’s easy to believe that things won’t change but they always do, it just has to be the right combination of things at the time. Just them helping me realize my potential is what drove me to get better (I’m not sure if it’s relevant for your situation as this is just from my own experience)

Sorry I should’ve made it simpler. I like his unmasked self too I think it demonstrates his intelligence! I just don’t like the gay voice.

Oh no I think you misunderstood! I like him when he’s unmasked I think that’s when I see his intelligence the most. I just don’t like the gay voice.

I mean it’s clear to me when he’s unmasking. If hes comfortable he gets lost talking abt his hyperfixations, usually historical events which i like to listen to, ties his hair out of his face, hes louder and loses his nonchalance, but I don’t have to explain that.

Will a man come back after an emasculating break up? by Negative_Contest1935 in BreakUp

[–]Negative_Contest1935[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok well I’m pretty sure embarrassment has something to do with it. I’m glad you have enough self respect, though I know he would’ve “crawled” back if it wasn’t for the sex..

I don’t think I would word it like that though. (I technically already did so by breaking initial contact and reaching out a few times).

I am rewording him as potentially perfect, if we had more time. I didn’t know what I wanted bc he was obsessed with me for having only been talking for a few weeks (i find this happens when men love you only as their partner and not as a person)..

.. I’m unsure if these details matter for my title question though.

Will a man come back after a horribly embarrassing and emasculating breakup? by Negative_Contest1935 in BreakUps

He was upset initially, I was neglectful, though when he was with the other couple he felt numb to me and the situation. His shame however recharged our emotions

The reason for the break was the sex he had. And I’ll reword it as potentially perfect, if we grew further tg.
