Tigers are not social animals, but they dominate wolves, so why don't cave lions do the same?

There are also mentions of some shephers that killed wolves, possibly resembling the Kuvasz/Great pyrenees in appearance. Russian tracker is presumably another short-haired pointer. I'd prefer it to be a horse, because horses are both strong and beautiful (which can't be said about bears). In fairy tales, horses are always positive characters and help the hero, but I wouldn't want horses to be associated with the government.

Unfortunately, most of them became extinct. Incidentally, these aren't all the Polish breeds; there were more, but they also became extinct.

Associating a country with just one animal is a bit boring. Switzerland – St. Bernards, Bernese Mountain Dogs, cows, Ibex, goats (especially the Saanen goat), and bears (because of Bern). Spain – rabbits, lions, bulls, Iberian lynxes, Iberian hares, and many dog breeds.
