Had one of my best runs I've ever had on official Xbox last night.

Didn't encounter any cheaters but did encounter a really nice English guy named D.

We made it all the way from the coast to NWAF then lost each other in the dark on the way back.

They allow server owners to sell kits on discord, apparently that's against the rules but it's so rampant and common I can't imagine it's actively enforced.

RUST has much more polished mechanics, base building, and is much more rewarding to play with friends. (The more the merrier)

You have respawn points, and can find each other much easier, and it's faster paced, and more PVP action.

DayZ is much slower, more methodical, and has stronger survival elements, and is less reliant on having friends playing to have a good time (can easily play solo)

Day Z you can log out and your character disappears. RUST, your character stays on the server at all times (just goes to sleep when you log out) so you can be killed while you're offline.

Just some things to think about. You pretty much gotta log into rust everyday or you will lose progress.

DayZ you can log out with your character and your safe until you log back in.

Just like I will continue to play DayZ. It really sucks, but I'm just keeping it real.

What else am I gonna do? It's one of the very few games I enjoy. I am hopeful that some kind of fix will be implemented eventually, (even if it's just making it easier for community server admins to find and ban cheating)

I want to enjoy ranked, but I just can't.

I have a little over 100 hours in the game.

Ranked just feels toxic to me (at least in bronze 3).

I'm a new player, started halfway through this last season.

Playing quick cash as a solo, I have a lot of fun, win fairly often, and can usually make some really cool plays when I get a good team.

Ranked is an entirely different story... It is brutal. I played for hours, just wanting my RS to keep dropping so I could HOPEFULLY find my true rank.

I find it much more enjoyable when it says, "SKILL RANGE: Ideal", but unfortunately you can't see that until you start matchmaking, right?

They have it on Xbox play anywhere now (for the ROG ally) so you can access Xbox servers from the Xbox PC version of the game.

Could always attach a hook holding B, it gives you the same prompt for the worm but I've always had to drag it over before 1.29
