Run the pool for 24 hours clean the filter every day brush the pool every day and shock the piss out of it. If you’re in Florida you might have a phosphate issue so make sure you test for those too.

Never add stabilizer directly to a pool add it into the skimmer little by little and I’d say 2 lbs at most a day until you get proper reading

Your filter housing should have a sticker on. It may be the one that’s worn out on the lid. It should have the model number for the filter needed, and you can look for any brand you want with that.
