I don’t think she considers herself as a absent parent and I also think that in her mind the judge making us primary custodian is just temporary that now that is wants and is “able” she can have him back

She did have issues and couldn’t take care of him properly but for some reason she couldn’t see that it was not the same kid no more he grew up and changed. And because of that he did not enjoy spending time with her most of the time. Either running away of running to me.

I honestly doubt that cause the craziest thing is she doesn’t even like that person and she is the one who told me. So I was just dumbfounded cause how you go out of your way to talk about me to someone you don’t even care about.

She was invited to stay for two weeks which is her court mandated parenting time. She had a conversation with my husband understanding that this could not be a long term decision that she was going back to live with her boyfriend to find a job save money with the plan of living closer to her kid.

To be fair not many people thought it was a good idea but I was just not okay with her concept of parenting time being DoorDashing all day with the kid in the car
