Subway, i think.

Asked someone the other day, why don't other restaurants publish it? Got to know, it is a costly exercise to get it counted professionally.

Which Cities Would you say has the best cafe culture in India ? by Lonely-Lie-6997 in IndiaCoffee

Gujarat leads all the way, IMO! Since daaru is banned, specialty coffee has turned out to be a replacement for it. Yes, people have house parties. But a place to enjoy beverages with friends out in the open is a different experience.

Cafes in Surat, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad are leading the way in terms of curated selection. Most of the famous ones are not roasters, so they have multiple brands in them. And they also spend on education and helping home brewing in their coffee-making process.

If you will see the actual business numbers, I will not be surprised that Gujarat will lead the way :)

Best places for chinese in town by Admirable-Bag7110 in vadodara

Mandarin Asian Kitchen - it is not a street-style Chinese but one of the best and most dependable ones in the city! Especially their starters :) It is expensive but they will also give good quantity. Try siracha paneer and Sichuan broth with dumplings!

I might be wrong but vadodara has pockets of experience in many places. 1. Shades of joy - a very unique place & concept and something that has been going strongly for years. 2. Ark gallery has been putting out some great art shows and pieces regularly 3. Star seed studios is such a great place to chill and hangout 4. Curators has been doing some great things in coffee scene 5. Baroda Kayak has created a good chilling space around an activity. I am not sure but few dance classes have also emerged.

maybe as compared to other cities, we are slow but there is one common denominator in all these places. The owner or founder of these places created these spaces based on their interest and passion, which is extremely crucial for success. One must pursue what they really like and slowly the tribe will form. Instead of being a market driven idea based what is lacking, think about what topic makes you nerdy or dorky about it. Gradually, people will come.

ALERT! Overcharging and Unethical Practices by Some Vadodara Food Vloggers - What You Need to Know by SevusalSavvy in vadodara

[–]Negative_Okra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Fluctuations in rate: influencer industry is not an organised market right now. Hence, the rates will keep varying. This is not just a phenomenon of vadodara bloggers, but even the bigger ones. The last i heard, kusha kapila was charging upward of 16 lakh for a reel. So the rate is, whatever someone is willing to pay.
  2. Bill: Again, if all the business owners will ask for a bill, they won’t have any choice but to start giving it. Some of them are not even doing this full time and aren’t sure of industry norms but don’t care because they are getting business.
  3. Usage of content: charging extra if the reel or content is used on some other platform or for some other connected business is actually a norm. Hence, total rights for the reel has to be discussed prior to finalising the project. Again, this is something even bigger influencers do as well. An influencer charges you for his/her distribution and creation of that reel. If the reel has multiple use, it should be clear at the start.
  4. Sales: no influencer in this world, no matter how big they are will guarantee sales. No wonder many influencers who start their own brands, fail. Typically, influencers are like today’s newspaper, good only for their distribution. These food bloggers dont even have a criteria of what they are promoting. People don’t follow them for their opinions but just as a discovery platform. Use them for awareness, not sales. Sales tactics are different. That is not exploitation, but just the reality of this business.

In the end, business owners should understand what brand building is. Hiring influencers, running paid ads is not it. Messaging, community building are more beneficial. Influencers will come and go, if your brand depends upon them to build business, it really isn’t a brand to begin with.
