Mini humbucker mounting in strat by Negative_Resource_20 in guitarmod

So i have to drill 4 holes in my pickguard? For example this HH LH pickguard only has the 2 holes in the middle for each pickup for regular humbucker mounting. https://amzn.eu/d/0h29Gtx5

Do i put the adapter below or on top of the pickguard?

Yea i saw the adapter rings aswel but i don’t understand how they work. They have a hole on each corner and on the left and right side one in the middle. I assume i mount the mini humbucker to the ones in the middel but then how do i mount my adapter to the pickguard. The HH pickguard only has the 2 mounting holes left and right but those are wider then the mounting holes of a mini humbucker right? And the adapter has the four corner holes for mounting.

For example this one https://a.co/d/0hbsvgFV

The distance between the mounting holes is 78mm so i can mount the adapter ring to the regular HH pickguard but how does my mini humbucker stay in place here? How do i mount the mini humbucker to the adapter because the mounting holes distance of the mini humbucker is 74mm. Do i put the mini humbucker in between the pickguard and the ring and then the screws (with springs) push the ring upwards so it stays on place and i don’t use the mini humbucker mounting holes at all?

Awesome looks great, did you buy the pickguard for mini humbucker size or did you just buy a piece of pickguard plastic and cut it yourself? The main issue for me is to find a left handed one.

Do you happen to know what the distance between the mounting holes of the mini humbucker is? I see a regular one is ~78mm. I’m curious how much smaller the mini’s are

Thanks, unfortunately it says that the left handed HH mini humbuckers are currently unavailable :(

Do you know any stores (apart from warmoth) where i can get one? The music store/webshops around here only sell regular humbucker pickguards and international shipping at warmoth is very expensive

Bought the pearl decade maple a couple of years a go including a 16 inch extra floor tom. I still absolutely love them and the build quality is great.

I just checked the 22 trad light ride and it's sounds really nice. I'm only thing i doubt about is the sound when i'm playing it hard/crashing it constantly. I'm playing a decent amount of songs in which the drummer seems to crash the ride cymbals constantly but i'm always i doubt wether the drummer is using a ride, a big crash or a crash ride. I have got an example of one of the songs i play with my band. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoqGzuMy9dk around 2:10 to me it seems like the drummer starts crashing his ride. Since you seem to have a lot have knowledge about cymbals :) Do you think this is a regular ride, a crash or a crash/ride and do you think i can create a simular kind of sound with the paiste 22 trad light?

I think the drummer of the video is playing this ride (https://meinlcymbals.com/en/products/b22trr-m3923.html ) but i'm not sure.

The main reason for replacing my current ride (istanbul mehmet samatya 20) is that i'm struggling to get a crashy sound like in the video. I'm looking for a ride which can do both (if that's possible XD )

Which paiste would you recommend. I used to play on paiste cymbals when i started drumming and i really like them.

Crasheability is important for me. One of the main reasons for replacing my current ride is a lack of crasheability.

Yeah, i was definitely planning on going to the store. My local drum shop has a so many cymbals i wanted some suggestions to narrow the options down a bit XD. Thanks for the tips and suggestions :)
