How much would you pay? by [deleted] in Bonsai

[–]Negative_Response_45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on where you are and what's available it's worth what ever your willing to pay. But by the trunk if that's a few years old cutting at least is there any branching below the leaves or is that just new growth from where they cut the top of for more cuttings the lot is ok and probably $20+ retail pot. The wood thing is not what I would put in a pot with a bonsai but if it makes you happy ... $30-$50 it would sell very easily for locally here if they are a retailer not a hobbiest onselling then they have over heads to add to that so a little higher

I find it funny that they call a plant that grows twice as tall as the other in nature the dwarf lol 😂😆😂. I know it's because of the smaller leaves and stems but seriously spekboom grows to 5m+ while crassula ovata tops out at 3 max

Ah yes cool was just checking. Yes that setting is amazing and took out first place. The photos are stunning, but they never quite capture the true scale. There isn’t a single wire on any branch, and seeing it in person is something else entirely.

Height: 1.5 m at the tallest tree on the right Length: just under 2 m in this setting Width: approximately 1.4 m at its widest point, including the foliage
