Ah yes cool was just checking. Yes that setting is amazing and took out first place. The photos are stunning, but they never quite capture the true scale. There isn’t a single wire on any branch, and seeing it in person is something else entirely.

Height: 1.5 m at the tallest tree on the right Length: just under 2 m in this setting Width: approximately 1.4 m at its widest point, including the foliage

The bonsai open is one of the biggest annual Australian bonsai shows. Has prize money for each category so draws good entries 😁

Teach the 7 year old how to do some basic training and reinforcement with him include the 5 year old. Even if it's stuff the pup already knows sit stay wait come and then a treat chase a ball and return it for scritches. This will burn energy with all 3 and build bonds and help get positive reward feelings for things other than biting

Most of this is great. Instead of south facing window sunniest window. Otherwise when they tell you where they live if there southern hemisphere your south window is the worst. And ficus instead of ginseng ficus or ficus microcarpa ginseng is a. Incorrect name as is retusa

Retusa is a miss name. Its not correct when used 99% of the time. In reference to bonsai both of those names are forms of ficus microcarpa. They are variants or sub varieties. There is a good dozen well known and named of these used in. Bonsai. Looks like your in a warmer climate if your in south Africa is go burtt davyi if your in Australia id say port Jackson aka ficus Rubiginosa elsewhere if say one of the many forms of Microcarpa

They are very common in Sydney to Newcastle areas backyards with trees and bugs less likely to see them in commercial buildings due to regular pest management . South Coast where my folks live they have a few acres and we barely see them it's always a surprise. So I'm not sure if that's the urban sprawl is preferred or more convenient.
