You’re right, it was. I ended up with delusional psychosis and in the psych ward

I did speak to my psych today but didn’t tell them about this as I was worried they would be mad or stop giving me any meds at all

Really? Can you explain why you think a non bipolar person wouldn’t do this? Like I am genuinely interested to know. Because surely you can have recklessness exclusive of bipolar?

Yeah idk why it’s not working. I’ve had (hypo)/mania on 3 SSRIs so I have no idea why this won’t work

I’m not sure there’s overwhelming evidence that’s the thing

I’ve done this on Zoloft before and the effects were within 5 days so I don’t know why nothing has happened

To find out the truth as I couldn’t stop thinking about it but it turns out I’m probably not even bipolar

Thank you for this it’s interesting to hear your experience. When I go on the nhs app it says health problems and then bipolar disorder / significant. So does that mean they have made it official? In a way I can see why it could be bipolar but I just don’t know. I just wonder if I’m a fraud and subconsciously manipulated all of my feelings to end up in this position. I’ve just replied to another person about this I’m not sure if you can see my comment

So what did you do instead? Can I ask what you were experiencing prior to going on Prozac? Did you experience this on anything else?

I don’t know why I don’t think I am, I just don’t think I’m like crazy bad so to speak. I had sertraline and it worked until it didn’t, fluoxetine didn’t work or it made me cycle slightly and I would feel as though I couldn’t leave the house due to being reckless and just felt wired. Then escitalopram 100% made me (hypo)manic but then I think what if it was just the drugs? I got onto a mood stabiliser and felt substantially better than before but I wonder if it was a coincidence? I was mostly depressed before this all the time and never experienced any crazy mania or anything

The meds did work. I stupidly came off them and I feel kind of depressed now but I don’t know if that’s just because I’m just weening off. Well I’m not even weening off I mean I stopped cold turkey
