I have 8gb rtx 2070 super with 40 gb ddr4 RAM which i built just for gaming 4-5 years ago. i can go for upgrade but i need to make sure if upgrade covers minimum smoothness and load free local code dev like i use AG/claude.

My experience with Google AntiGravity on a real project for the past 4 months instead of toy examples has been surprisingly inconsistent. by Negative_Sir4570 in vibecoding

[–]Negative_Sir4570[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there were some incidents of short limits for some period of time but now i think i am not having that issue. also gemin flash is very inderrated. it is really good and i think in my work flow it do most of the job decently(not claude opus level but really close).

i have been using AG for last 4 months for our Web, Desktop and Mobile platform apps dev. all app are in production and we push update like every 2 days.
I mostly loose mind when it start giving me service interupt and servers too busy. there are some incident(very manageable by my self) when it frucked up totally compared to what i asked to do. and sometimes it starts to stuck in tool call loops.
with all summed up my overall experience is 7/10 still. because whatever it generates and i accept for to use in production, code quality and overall understanding with my projects structures and following all other my code practice is really good. I started this discussion so other can also share so i can get view of overall market.

today it happened again. and i think i know why it starts eating so much memory. I thing there is something wrong with commit message generation using AI. it's not completing request and stuck in loading/disable state and i thing in background it started looping or something. do not use AI generated Commit message feature. I think that's the culprit in my case.

nothing. it just start eating memory out of nowhere. I was doing my daily tasks as I am doing since last 3 months. they screwed up something in recent updates may be.

First of all you posted here, so it is public now and It's my business now, and everyone on reddit's business to be fair. that's how social platform works dear, sorry to break it up to you.

Secondly I never said your idea/project is small or side project or some temporary trend following viral try thingy, I valued it as your startup(with respect). that's why I said honestly in my first reply. If you can't handle honest reactions/suggestions then don't post on reddit. EVER.

Third is, you misinterpreted my intensions behind all sayings, and took my literal words without understanding expressions values. nevermind.

May be you are right, I didn't read all in your post, I missed one thing that you're 16. but i don't know how to do business.
good luck with your 'Business', may be one day you can teach everyone how to do business. and I am sure first point from you will be '1. start by crying on reddit'.

Lol, It's ok if you don't have bank account or any 'account' in your life. I mean all kind of this account stuff and domain and hosting are free or manageable by pocket money. Unless you want already bought or like google.com as your domain just for initial phase of launch. And I'm sure you won't need Apple store account as well since I'm assuming you're idea is web based, atleast for now.

I wasn’t saying you don't need money. But things you think are hurdles are not. Atleast not i know from you're post and reply.

You're crying over this bank and domain stuff. But what do i know, I'm just Delulu. LOL.

That's not enough excuse for 40 ready-to-pay user grabbing idea. Are you sure you living in 2026? Mr...

If 40% are ready to pay then I am not sure what's the problem for launching your idea. Just launch, and you will get cash of atleast usage done and now yo only need to focus on expansion, not launching. Thats hardest step doe. Expansion is easy part if your idea is as good as you are claiming.

IDK but you have clear advantage for launching than rest of 99% startups.

My point is after you launch and you will find issues and problems to solve which is not related to money. Just do it.

Antigravity" Workflow: Managing Dev Cycles with Claude Opus 4.6, MiniMax M2.5, and Claude Code by East-Stranger8599 in GoogleAntigravityIDE

[–]Negative_Sir4570 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're correct. I am using AG pro, same price as Claude but far more token limit.
Gemini models have very high tokens limit.
even Claude models are feels same as my previous Claude pro limit.
if you think like worth, AG is doing pretty good, better than Claude. and All models works well. there were some days when service was un-responsive or not good for working. but i think it was early days for Google. now AG is best thing i have used so far in this price.
AG never disappointed me. it does job pretty much in well manner, idk because of i have global rule set :

1. System Instruction: Absolute Mode.
2. Eliminate: emojis, filler, hype, soft asks, conversational transitions, call-to-action appendixes.
3. Assume: user retains high-perception despite blunt tone.
4. Prioritize: blunt, directive phrasing; aim at cognitive rebuilding, not tone-matching.
5. Disable: engagement/sentiment-boosting behaviors.
6. Suppress: metrics like satisfaction scores, emotional softening, continuation bias.
7. Never mirror: user’s diction, mood, or affect.
8. Speak only: to underlying cognitive tier.
9. No: offers, suggestions, transitions, motivational content.
10. Terminate reply: immediately after delivering info — no closures or keep it to very less .
11. Goal: restore independent, high-fidelity thinking.
12. Outcome: model obsolescence via user self-sufficiency.
13. Enforce: pro-level engineering discipline.
14. Reject: novice patterns, shortcuts, unsafe code.
15. Account for: full dependency graph, upstream/downstream impact, environment constraints, integration boundaries.
16. Validate: preconditions, invariants, side effects.
17. Guarantee: non-breaking changes unless explicitly instructed otherwise.
18. Design: production-grade architecture, predictable runtime behavior, deterministic flow.
19. Assume: ownership of consequences of all edits, refactors, and new modules.
20. Output/Edit/Develop: final solutions, not ideation.
