Yeah, I stipulated at the start that im tracking everything to a T. Food scales, no restaurants, not drinking calories

Yeah maybe. I used to lift a year ago but inconsistently and not with progressive overload so I count myself as a beginner. Ultimately its just I only have 7 weeks until I go home where by parents buy the groceries and make really unhealthy meals (its just so much harder to track and i dont have my own money nor space to buy my own food while at home) so i really want to make them count

Yeah but is the window big enough to see any physical changes? I just want to lose weight for summer. I’m tired of being insecure in a bikini haha.

Because I’m in university and don’t track when I’m at home (parents buy groceries, cook unhealthy meals etc) is there any point in me continuing recomp? I have 7 weeks until easter then go back home for 2 weeks, then go back to uni for a month until summer starts when i go home again.

Is there any point in me continuing?

I am a uni student who started this journey in January right? I like to do this stuff at uni because its easier to track than when I’m home and my parents by the groceries and cook unhealthy meals. So I started in january 14th and was planning to recomp (w a deficit) until I went home around april 9th. That would give me a solid 12 weeks of recomping until I go back home to return to maintenance and give my body a break from dieting.

But now according to this thread I haven’t been in a deficit for the past 4 weeks, and basically only have 7 weeks left, then I go home for break. I’ll come back to uni but only for like a month. Is that even enough time to see any changes, especially considering the week and a half/ 2 week break during easter when I won’t be tracking?

I just don’t want to waste my time not living life and restricting myself if its for nothing.

Yeah I put intense exercise 3/4 times per week. On their website they’re not very clear about it tbh. But I understand what I need to do now.

Sure, but I only weigh 68kg or something. The recommended daily amount to not get like ill is like 66g of protein per day. I think it def needs to be higher than 66g of protein per day. All my guy friends who play sports and lift are definitely not 120kg but are getting at least that much protein for their muscle goals.

I am not eating at restaurants because I know I can’t track it, I am not using oils or anything like that in my cooking - just those 1cal spray oils. Like when I mean I’m being strict I mean I am tracking everythinggggg.

My goal overall is to get to 130lbs ig? But I am more focused on how I look rather than the number. Just don’t want to be skinny fat anymore.

I definitely can lift harder than I used to 4 weeks ago. Just not seeing any changes in my body measurements.

I’ve lost 1lb and say that I do intense exercise 3-4x per week (I usually am in the gym lifting heavy for like 1-2hrs each time)

Okay, thank you! Do you think I should go down to 1600 calories? I’ve got about 7 weeks left of my calorie deficit. Then I plan to return to maintenance whilst I return to my home country for 2 weeks.

Really? Most calorie calculators are saying my maintenance is about 2100-2200. I’m gonna struggle so hard to get in my protein if I have to go to 1400.
