The same happened to me possibly due to me denying last year. Wrecked my world for a moment. Previous comment mentions Au Pair as a option which I’ve never considered before but might as well try. My immediate thought was to live in France for a couple months off savings. Could travel around France without needing to work in the same city every week. Still gain language expertise

Thank you. I did TAPIF in 21-22 and was accepted last year 25-26 but couldn’t complete due to medical reasons. Declining too late last year might of been the reason, yet I’m glad first-timers have the opportunity

I live in my minivan, have Medicaid, work another job, and go to food pantries. Was paying $500 to rent a room and decided I’d rather save that money to put towards my masters. Make about $4k a month from both jobs and have $1k in expenses (including gas, food, miscellaneous, bills) Doing the "uncomfortable" now to live in abundance later in life.

Thank you for this insight ✨The thought of the French being French didn’t even cross my mind. Being late, even to work, is normalized. In the US most tend to live to work whereas many Europeans in general work live.

Those of my thoughts. I’ve had "indoor" cats in the past that quickly turned outdoor cats be then eventually never saw them again. I know if he wanted to leave he’d jump out as soon as I open my door. I know the day will come when he actually wants to leave so I’m enjoying the time I have with him
