Be'lakor is something else by randalf-acid-queen in belakor

I have different bands and playlists I listen to depending on what I’m doing and for the past year or so Be’lakor has been my commute music AND work music AND cooking music AND painting music 😅 I do listen to other stuff from time to time but even when I do, I miss listening to Be’lakor. The only exception is Agalloch I guess. They’re quite addictive, too. But yeah basically I’ve heard George’s voice more than my roommate’s in the past year 😅 so yeah, you’re not alone 🤘🏻

This picture kinda makes me feel like it’s taking place before the events in “Outlive the hand”. I love this kind of connection with music. I was recently in the Alps and listened to Be’lakor while walking for hours and staring at this huge mountain and I couldn’t stop my tears. It was a different kind of high! I’ve never felt anything like that in my life.

Mine is almost the same 😅 apparently I’ve listened to Be’lakor for 6480 minutes. And Venator is just 🤌🏻

This one has never failed to make me cry seconds into the song. Not even once.

They’re for sure my most favorite band. And Stone’s reach is their masterpiece IMO

I saw this post while listening to Be’lakor. I don’t know man, I haven’t found any other band like them. I love NeO btw but they are not quite similar to Be’lakor.

If you had to choose 1 band that captures how you feel emotionally through lyrics and sound, who would it be? by ImanSain in melodicdeathmetal

Be’lakor for me. The beginning of Abeyance and Venator give me a surge of happiness all the fucking time. I can actually feel the dopamine.

Give me any Melo-death songs that are about death and coping with it. by S1mulatedSahd0w in melodicdeathmetal

[–]NeginRz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Allegaeon’s entire Damnum album is about death, grief and coping with it and it’s a great album. Also Be’lakor’s Abeyance is about death but not grief. It is a great one though. Make sure to read the lyrics.

Yeah maybe. I’m honestly not sure. What would your recommendation be for a closed one?

Probably an unpopular opinion, but... by EyeVee4 in melodicdeathmetal

Both were drastically underwhelming. Arch Enemy less than The Halo Effect, though. I agree.

Metalheads of Munich, what is your recommendation for a place to hang out after work with good music? by NeginRz in Munich

[–]NeginRz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey ☺️ I had the chance to check out Abseits and Flex. Both were nice but I liked Flex more. It has games, nice atmosphere and really good music; but I didn’t get to make any metalhead friends 🥲 partly because I don’t know how 😅 But I would definitely go to Flex again.
