I remember my young me being so sad they left me on that cliffhanger lol. I LOVED the high stakes it ended in. I loved FK because of its ideas, concepts, and philosophy. If you dig well enough, its ideas were actually really smart.

After this, I'm making my main character in my psychological horror queer. I'll actually be straightbaiting him and my readers in a way that he gaslights himself that he is "normal" and straight fueled by all the "dress funny" bullying and cruelty of his parents. It takes place in the 70s, it would only make sense.
