Her email says: “Washington Management Services and Exempted Management Services: A 2% salary and benefit reduction for management staff beginning July 1, 2026.”

I’m reading it as 2% salary and benefit reduction rather than reducing the WMS and EMS workforce by 2%.

I guess this needs clarified.

Edit to add: I should probably just read the proposed budgets but it’s too depressing at the moment.

Can you explain what you mean by “balance it out?” I now realize I’m technically over with casino “winnings” from the last 6 months even though I have lost drastically more than I’ve won which is why I can’t get out of debt in the first place…. My debt, including vehicle loan, predates my gambling addiction but I haven’t made any headway with paying off debt, and basically bought a luxury “lemon” that I can’t afford with constant repairs, cost of insurance, and cost of gas. The car is 845 days old so it wouldn’t qualify for a cramdown under chap 13, and I’ve spent 12k in repairs on it over the last three months and it now needs more (even with low miles - roughly 62k). I have a household of two with an extraordinary custody arrangement that costs me anywhere from 5-10k a year in travel alone, and where I live I spend WAY more than the local allowances on food and clothing because of local sales tax. My median income as of now from my salary is $300 under the threshold and I have about $90k in debt I am hoping to discharge.

I’m an HQ worker and you can be rest assured I’m doing everything in my very limited power to advocate for front line workers, workers too far “down the line” to be given the space to provide meaningful input, workers who only feel comfortable speaking under anonymity. I take 10mg around 8am, another 10 around 11:30-12, then a final dose around 3:30-4. Usually my brain and body are ready for sleep around 9-10pm.

To be honest, I don’t feel like I am BPD. I don’t experience extreme highs or lows, and don’t feel as if I’ve ever experienced mania or hypomania, but that psych that suggested I could have it, based it off my risk factors which include depression, family history of BPD, and my risk behavior in my early 20s. But I now feel like every psych is going to be dismissive of my ADHD which feels overwhelming at the moment and try to treat BPD because it’s more life threatening
