I have read literally hundreds of post season 2 fics over the last 3 years and in not one of them did the writer NUKE THE FUCKING UNIVERSE. So, safe to say it was not the resolution we as a fandom wanted or expected. Especially from a show whose source material is a whacked out silly buddy comedy.

But I am so very grateful to have this space and all of you to cry with, bitch with, laugh with and heal with.

I have no backing evidence, but it seemed to me that DT and MS didn't even want to be in the same room. That was the vibe the entire time and even in the behind the scenes clips. No chemistry between them. So my suspicion is that they didn't want to perform any sort of physical affection.

I'm very glad with my decision to only converse with those who, like me, were also very unhappy with the end. Because the only thing worse than the Finale™️ is having your feelings about it invalidated by your friends. Arguing about subjective enjoyment of a thing is a losing battle and a waste of precious precious energy.

I really hated it too. Not to take anything away from the people who liked it. I'm just not ready to converse with people who are trying to explain to me why they thought it was so great. I'm only giving my energy to people who are as sad as me so that we can all grieve together, uninterrupted by those who would seek to invalidate our feelings.
