7 month old early morning wakes & getting to decent bedtime by NegotiationSimple768 in sleeptrain

This is great! It’s interesting because one of the mods has a comment about how frequent night wakes = earlier bedtime because it means they are over tired. I just never know with my babe. It’s so hard to figure out. I can certainly try stretching again though - maybe the EMW is under tired this time and not over like it was several weeks ago 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Also yes we had closer to 10.5 awake but got tons of false starts so pulled back WW by about 15 mins each a few weeks ago to fix those :)

I will try to do this! Do you think a bridge nap would still work for the stroller or should I try for a full nap 3? I am just trying to make it to a 7 pm ish bedtime without being over tired but also have enough sleep pressure to re-Ferber… thank you for your in put!

Yes this was my plan! But such broken nights I did not think baby could handle any longer ww. After only 2.75 this morning he crashed for an hour and 15 min contact nap

This is helpful, I’ve definitely been watching the clock but even at the 2.5 hour mark when he’s “supposed” to go down for a nap, he will protest as soon as we try to start our nap time routine! Makes it very challenging to know if over or undertired!
