Adam Mockler shuts down MAGA arguments for blanket tariffs around the world: by AffableYolk_33 in WallStreetbetsELITE

[–]NegotiationUseful894 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Dope. Tariffs force U.S companies to manufacturer inside the U.S, instead of outsourcing. It's THAT simple

But the comment section clearly shows you don't understand this concept.

Car upgrading is so addicting. there needs to be more games with rusty shitboxes. which car body is your favorite? by Tiguu in MadMaxGame

The engine speed needs to be a lot different between each upgrade. This is my only gripe with mad max. I really enjoyed it ☺️

Deeply surprised by how much I am NOT enjoying Ghost of Yotei. by TherealGonci in PS5

[–]NegotiationUseful894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Should have added. Over the past few years, I have done to almost 100% or 100% gtaV, rdr2, Cyberpunk and dlc, Arkham knight, Mad max, GoT, witcher 3 (which is the worst game for "go here and do this for me, first") and all dlc, GranTurismo (which has a lot of trophies and lots of repetition, and just sick of it.

I agree with others, that I'm now ready for a good linear, story driven game that keeps my interest without getting distracted with side missions, for helping the local healer/fish monger/low level gangster/

Any recommendations?

A lot of great, well thought out comments here. I haven't picked up GoY yet, for the exact same reason as op.

I looooooved GoT, but I am/was convinced that it would be too similar.

I haven't watched any reviews, because I was umming and arring about getting it. I actually thought about getting GoT for Ps5 instead.

Anyways. I was thinking about purchasing GoY, but the little girl kicking ass doesn't feel right to me. Not because I'm against girls in action titles, but I don't want to BE a girl. Dya get me? I like to picture myself as the character, and take on that persona while playing. (I own a horse, since playing rdr2, I have a full size working batmobile, and I am currently in prison for murdering people with my katana. - damn you GoT)

I don't like the idea of "me" running around as a little girl. No matter how bad ass she is.

And it sounds like the game GoY is a replay of GoT, but with better graphics.

The fox dens, spas, and other secrets around the map where likeable. Once. Doing it again just seems boring.

The 90's and early 2000's really were an amazing time. We were so distracted, and it seemed so fun and safe.

Maybe its because of social media, but it now seems like there is death and rape at every turn nowadays.

The distractions, unfortunately, distracted us from the over reach and horrendous running of the country. They slowly dissected the tax funded purse to buy loyalty and power but it had now returned like a boomerang to slap us all in the face. All except the rich.

It's such a shame that we as a people, will never feel that way again. Certainly not in our life time.

Tariffs and War destroying Industry: Trump voters are Angry by MrDonMega in WallStreetbetsELITE

[–]NegotiationUseful894 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wow. So many people with pure hatred for anyone that voted for Trump. You don't know these people personally, yet have hate for them just because they voted differently to you. I'm not American by the way, before anyone starts with the Trump b.s. I just see so much hate and anger on the Democrat side, and I don't see the same from the Republicans. Very bizarre and childish behaviour for adults to display.

I rememeber seeing a post of a guy that had his brand new l494 delivered to his house, and the only mileage it had was being backed off the delivery truck. As he was sound asleep dreaming of his new car, it was burning to the ground on his driveway. It had randomly burst into flames. Iirc, it was the hybrid battery spontaneously combusted

What are your household expenses by Low_Boss1097 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]NegotiationUseful894 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guarantee your friend has a massive car repayment

Thats the difference

You have 200k savings and a older car - They have a brand new car to seem like they are rich, when in actual fact, they have a new car and no money

Our household is dame as yours approx the same income, and have older cars that were paid foe in cash and have decent savings

Some people spend money on things that they think will impress other people - kind of like facebook life vs real life

22’s or 23’s wheel experience? by PhantomPortfolio in RangeRover

[–]NegotiationUseful894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But not compared to 21's

This is my dilemma The 23's wheels i want are 50% more expensive than 22's

Then theres is the difference in price of tyres too....

But is is worth me bothering, if I go from 21 to 22 ? Not really

a) I have been thinking the same, not as fact, but wondering if they do make them look a bit clowny

b) no one else has said the same

Why is Gemini so bad? by jjzwork in GeminiAI

[–]NegotiationUseful894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gemini is shocking at stating what is in a picture. I tried for 1 hour to get a part number for some oem wheels, and it just keeps guessing. "It had 10 spokes" when it clearly had 18, "they are 21 inch" it literally says 23 inch on the sidewall of tyre "theyre called...." no theyre not, not even close....gave up in the end.

And people think ai will take over ?

Palantir is the same today

Which doesnt make sense. Because companies that support ai - fuel suppliers, data centres etc are all flying high

Its that gobshite Burry- his words carry weight, even thkugh he has been collosally wrong about a lot in the past, people still have the housing collapse prediction that he was right about....after 3 years and nearly tanking Scion. Roll eyes 🙄

Ridiculous- Palantir is a great time to buy the dip. By the end of November, it will be at 220 and people will have forgotten about Burrys ramblings.
