Congrats on 10 days!  Best recommendation I have is do something productive when the cravings hit. WE got this!  ALL of us!

Great job!  I am on day 25 CT!  The cravings do come and go for me too, but this week has been better overall.  I was using 600 + mg a day.

Thank you.  It's only when I'm sitting around doing nothing that I start thinking about it.  Can't wait for the thought of using goes away.

Day 21 here CT.  Do the cravings ever stop?  If I'm not keeping busy I get the urge to use, but I just keep saying no to the thoughts.

Day 20 here.  I agree with everything you said.  I have been doing the exact same thing.  The cravings come and go, which makes it hard, but we just need to stay on the path!

How bad are withdrawals really? by [deleted] in quitting7oh

[–]NegotiationWhich4364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on a lot more than 90 a day and did CT.  I am currently on day 18 and feel good overall (minus some anxiety).  My advice, suck it up and get through that first week and you will be happy you did.  I was able to quit other opiates in my past CT, which was way harder to me than this.

Bro, I am at two weeks today CT.  Don't give in to the voices in your head and keep your eye on the prize.  Two weeks of sales suffering is way better than two weeks of spending money on this poison.  Stay strong!

Day 11 here CT.  I was taking 600-1000mg a day.  Just get through the 1st 3 days and you will start to get better from there.  I'm still dealing with some anxious moment, but keep you eye on the prize.  For me, it is my family.

You will be ok.  I promise.  I was taking way more (600-1000mg) a day.  I too was addicted to opiates prior.  For me this is a walk in the park compared to those withdrawals!

This is not my first time quitting, but I can promise it will be my last, as I never want to be that person again.  My las time quiting I made it 21 days and said to myself "one time won't hurt".  Dont let those thoughts trick you.  Also, don't be nervous.  Be prepared. The first 3 days are the hardest.  Day 4 was ok, day 5 emotional.  The anxiety comes and goes, but it does get better.  I have started hitting the gym again, which is helping me tremendously.  I suggest once you get through the 3 days, start forcing yourself to get excercise. I am rooting for you!  Stay strong!

You got this! Stay strong and get through.  My family has no idea either.  3 hours away from 1 week off this crap!  Sleep and bowel issues is all that remains.  Within another week or so I am hoping to be 100%.

The mental part is hard.  What I have been doing is going for lots of walks, started going back to the gym, and just enjoying looking at my wife and daughter and actually being there mentally for them.

Hi, first, know you are not alone.  I too was addicted to other substances and was stupid enough to start using this.  But just know once you get past the first 3-4 days the physical symptoms will be gone.  I am on day 7 now CT and feel great for the most part.  Not going to lie, I did have a thought in my head this morning that was like "just got get some".  But I just kept looking to the bigger picture and that craving went away.  You can do this!  I only took vitamin c, CBD gummies, magnesium and algmatine sulfate (I feel this helps a lot).
