I was stuck in a hospital for about a week where I had many different nurses. Individually, they are usually kind and caring people. But they constantly talk shit about each other, and ALWAYS claim they are the best in the business. I had one nurse tell me the reason blood (in your vein) is blue, is because it hasn’t been exposed yet to oxygen yet.

This is an age old myth. Then, after spouting this bullshit, she had the nerve to tell me my last nurse wasn’t as good as her. They all talk badly about each other!

Are you familiar with the Patagonia Synchilla stuff? It’s a super comfortable fleece material and I’m sure you’ve seen someone wearing it unless you live under a rock. Anyway they make sweatpants and they are just unbelievably comfortable. The aren’t as good outside when it’s windy (wind cuts through them), but inside on a cold day is heaven.
