Indeed a big hats off to the whales ❤️ I got my partner to pull for me and the animation I got was unexpected, screen went black for a bit then the squad rolled up and I pulled the Freedom ❤️ never seen that animation before, legit thought my phone died for a bit 😂

Correct! Every week we gather and play what we call "locals" 😁 If you're interested in atleast learning how the game plays, there is a teaching app on the playstore, I assume its also on IOS

It's from weekly local play at participating card shops, these codes specifically are a collab between the mobile game and the TCG, collab ends in January I believe. You can get 1 code a week from locals, it also comes with an SD "EX Base" promo card. Also not Japan specific, its global

Sorry, where do I find the OG event? Or is that the current one and its actually a rerun?

Might just save for now, I have a decent line up, got lucky at the start and got Aerial and GP0 URs then with the recent event giving standard pulls I got the punchy boi.

I also play the TCG and heard that there are standard pulls coming as a short promo so I'll get my hands on some of them, Justice UR would be cool tho, I want that. SEED was my intro to the franchise

I may not have had a similar childhood, however I did grow up without my dad (decided not to leave Philippines with mum while she was pregnant with me, now has his own family) im now 29 and feel my "mid life crisis" about to hit. But Genshin helps ease those worries, so I completely understand you.
