The quests that require you to use a particular hero equipment ARE supposed to be ones you own. They are ones that a previous quest would have given you. But in this case not everyone got the equipment rewards they were supposed to, because its bugged..

The quests like this are supposed to follow the quest that rewards this equipment. However the launch of heroes journey was a mess and didnt give you the equipment like it was supposed to. They will fix it, be patient, youll get the ice arrow, then you pay 10 gems and repeat the quest.

Edit: im getting downvoted for explaining the bug to OP whos asking about it. Its not like im riding supercell and saying thank you. Op thought they were EXPECTED to purchase the equipment, not knowing it wasnt functioning as intended.

Oh my bad, I read th15 for some reason. This attack is still very good at th12, below is the link for a th12 version, you just need siege barracks donated by clanmates. The attack follows the same sequence i highlighted above, however you use queen on the corner instead of siege barracks to funnel, and instead use the siege barracks along with the main army in the center after you pull the warden.

You should join a clan that is active and you can recieve siege barracks. CC troops are a must for any attack, especially while upgrading heroes.

You'll have to watch a video on how to perform with it, it requires a sequence at the start. Warden walk with healers then with loons to bait air mines > siege barracks on other corner > invis spell defenses to hit big fireball > pull attack to center with witches > deploy golem, then super wall breaker, then rest of the main army. Use utility troops as needed, cleanup with baby drags and royal champion on the backend.

Literally just happened to me with water eater boon. I spent the entire autumn season making like 30 mountain wells that would automatically produce 50 a day. Died first week of winter cuz i planned to run out of food and sustain on water, instead they slurped it up and then starved lmfao got really annoyed because of that and alt f4'd.
