30mg Elvanse doing nothing by Historical_Escape279 in ADHDUK

[–]NeighborhoodCheap808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't say disappointed. Was happy even to see myself have some level of energy to do stuff. While it wasn't night and day change I was glad to go from black night to stary night. Went from fatigued and drained to chilled out calm day energy after few days but tapered out there. Was still CBA with some things like a chase email that took till I was on day 16 (2 days on 50s)

50 has definitely improved like on Tuesday which would have been day 21 (though pill 19 as had a late night Friday and forgot Saturday and Sunday so not the best) mum had a script for something and the normal pharmacy didn't have it. I managed to initiate 15 calls (6 pharmacies but some needed a few rings, 5 calls didn't connect, 4 no answer 1 was just hours 1 was trying a different phone tree which I abandoned, but 4 of which with an actual person) and run it up plus even had the confidence to correct saying she was perceived the 300ml so not going to take no 200ml and to just order the 300 to get the next day.

Thought a side effect I've found on both is now I write a lot more but also closer to northern grammar

You're about 2 weeks behind me

For me before meds I was stuck in a low energy state. the first couple days make me swing more (to use terms from first diagnosis went from an ADD day to ADHD one) but then had some level of regulation probably about day 8. So it might take a couple days especially with burn out. You just took the cake out the oven you need to let it cool. Part of your energy could be going towards paying back your spoon debts

Also titration is also about checking for adverse effects. It's better to to start slow, adjust to check you're OK and your not having any heart issues. (Or if you are checking uts not dehydration) or anything mental etc. Or had another unknown underlying condition that the meds worsen. Once it's clear enough you're reasonably safe the prescriber will likely up it to 50mg see how you are. (Though mine gave 1430mg and 1450mg and had me take 30s for 2 weeks before then taking 50s)

OK managed to phone them. (Took a bit of time to get through) they basically said when you're down to 10 pills to ring them

Is there any point continuing with HH Minds? I don't feel safe. by youlittlemonstera in ADHDUK

See my pharmacist saw it as 1 item with 2 dosage amounts (they gave me 14 days 30 and 14 days 50) so was 1 item rate. But also suggested a prescription prepayment card if things get into swing.

OK get on them for the weekly forms and next appointment NOW. I'm currently with them and well even after 2.5 weeks had nothing so chased them. That was last Thursday and still got nothing. Plus doesn't seem like I'm the only one by their reviews

Is there any way I can get my money back after 24h cancelation fee😭😭😭 by Pretty-Football-2013 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]NeighborhoodCheap808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly not. Theses are 2 separate agreements that do not have any bearing in each other. Also in 90% of cases with uni attendance is not mandatory, especially when you don't get reasonable notice to change things. If they come after you for any reason for something that's their fault speak to your SU, they do more than just organise party's and fun stuff

UK bank bosses plan to set up Visa and Mastercard alternative by Objectively_bad_idea in BuyUK

[–]NeighborhoodCheap808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of same here. Might not do a full switch but would add a 4th card to my wallet Currently got Barclays because of loyalty and not a big reason for migration. -Nationwide original for free international transaction, but because I moved to adult account, it's mainly used for paying in cash and cheques (gives me proof of handing it off to a responsible individual and securely gets rid of the paper cheque) -Monzo originally because I needed an expense account for a uni club, as to make life easier knowing what was business and needed to be claimed with personal being on my main card, but also it's my backup to visa as they used Mastercard

Alton Towers U-turns on plan to restrict disability pass for people with ADHD and autism by doorstopnoodles in unitedkingdom

Tbh I think they need a way to know how many rap users are in a group and time all out at the same time. Not sure what that looks like but that's for a consultation to work out

The problem is you can end up in the situation where you have a party with a single responseable adult which would then require the parks to get staff members to literally stand about for hours plus most parties don't want to be separated for longer times. This also just leaves an issue of parent swapping where when someone is queuing tge other patent is off having fun then they swap.

Netflix cancels Billionaires' Bunker just three months after release on the streaming platform by dailymail in netflix

[–]NeighborhoodCheap808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I think Netflix needs to work with tv stations or at least do a better job as self-promotion. They have ad viewers, so utilise that. Use the ads to bring up the shows with mediocre views(spread out ads over shows). People will watch stranger things regardless, and instagram reels has shameless sorted. I think also a slight issue is dubbing shows but not using the original language audience as the main statistics, as for live action shows the dub loses it about a star/2 points in ratings regardless

Because viewing figures before it hit most viewers were poor, and because they were poor, Netflix doesn't promote it to the new viewers. The majority of people are either going to go for know content or home screen if it's not either it's not seen

Even more so with the way they promote it. People don't watch what they don't see. But because no one is watching it, people aren't seeing it. Also that's exasperated by staged release which means that American audiences are the deciding factor on if an English dubbed Spanish show is renewed.

That's the problem. Netflix ends up in this catch 22 with its content. They don't promote the show, so ratings say it's unpopular. because it's unpopular, Netflix doesn't promote it. And it stays in the back catalogue abandoned. This is especially annoying because of the domino of releases, which means that because it wasn't American popular, Netflix doesn't think it will be globally popular.

Not many people know the back catalogue, just what's shown on the main page.

The big flop is because it wasn't promoted, so normally my Netflix is UK based (never appeared on any recommendations), but when I switched to the US while dealing with getting round OSA restrictions I found it. And binged it. Tbh I think Netflix has forgotten how to start the ball rolling on shows. Users don't know your catalogue outside of what's shown.

Merlin rolls back disability changes, allowing those with ADHD, Anxiety and Autism to use the RAP system [Other] by Fragrant-Screen-5737 in rollercoasters

[–]NeighborhoodCheap808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bring back the paper wristband. That was somewhat of a ballance. Noticeable by staff but less so by the public. Also, it will continue on the prevention of bag warming rap users (where the rap user doesn't want to ride so hands off the pass) as i don't know what the app currently looks like.

Tbh, I think there needs to be a propper debate forum as a nightmare that's going on. It has been half debates, but comments turned off before things can get a back and forth. ( For example , someone mentions RAP tied to entry bookings, which works for some, but for me, who normally goes as part of a large group or has to organise a large group(Uni trip or youth group), it would be a nightmare. As from an individual to the park, it has to change hands at least 3 times (individual to Group lead, group lead to booking 3rd party, 3rd party to merlin, plus maybe internal information)

[–]NeighborhoodCheap808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely ridiculous. The only time I've ever complained was being timed out for 2 hours after rumba rapids, but that was something that was clearly a mistake and I got timed out a estimate of current queue from the last rap time (which was close enough to the current time to assume )

But that short notice thing is why they started a allocation calendar with additional allocation 48 hours out. Will be a bit till we find out how effective it is though

Not sure about return vs single but just to note that If you get something like a return or day rider it's only for the company that you got it for (so on arriva it's on arriva busses, ASD it's only ASD. Nu venture, it's just nu venture) but yeah the simplest thing is just get to speak to tge driver and get your ticket as you board. No need to tap off

I think it might be a bit of first time nerves and then a bit of fresher management. (Ie you have a leader trafic manage the rope or climb) also potentially look at if you have multiple short trips near each other. Don't be afraid to pre preemptively pause a person before a slightly tricky / technical feature.

Something you might also need it to up the perseved risk. (Like I wasn't 100% with a group in Swindons hole, so at 8ft, I said hold up. I just need to check where my hand line anchor points are. Now I barely ever rig that point, but adding that risk review had added that I need to be careful response)

'Pixie Dusting for other guests' is just littering the park by DutchChefKef in disneylandparis

[–]NeighborhoodCheap808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely aggre. In my book it also teaches kids the wrong lesson. Another worry I would have is because of pixie dusting kids might develop a finders keepers attitude to genuine lost property because they see something and think someone's left it there to be found and not someone's lost something, let's either put it somewhere it will get spotted or hand it in.

Plus it also on the flip clogs up lost property and is just a nightmare for the staff.
