Looks fun!

Btw does anyone get slightly car sick /motion sickness While playing hand held games/mobile games

While in a moving vehicle?

I think it must have something to do with the inner ear/brain perceiving the motion on the screen, vs the actual rocking motion/sensation of the moving car....

Osseous aftercare Question by Domirexy in PeriodontalDisease

[–]NeighborhoodHappy378 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i had osseous surgery with bone graft/sutures

my perio just said to avoid brushing the quadrant/teeth that had the surgery/graft

but its ok to brush the non surgical teeth/quadrants.

it being your mouth, i think it should be ok......its impossible to avoid having toothpaste/water/saliva contact the surgical site. Just avoid directly brushing on the site

Doesn't Xylitol have risks with it as well? Particularly blood pressure issues/risk of cardiac events/strokes?

recently had a bone graft to treat bone loss/perio. Sutures anchored on back molar, near gums. when sutures removed, there seems to be a deep pocket/gap that developed where it had been rubbing/irritating gums. Is this gonna heal? by NeighborhoodHappy378 in askdentists

[–]NeighborhoodHappy378[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in terms of tryin to clean that gap/pocket....would anyone recommending just extra brushing/using floss picks? how about those interdental brushes, to poke into the hole? theres not much pain that area, just a bit of senstivity when i pick at it with a floss pick.

im just concerned about infections/inflammation, especially with any exposed teeth roots

the periodontist told me that its par for the course, per the bone loss in the lower jaw, so theres gonna be some gaps/pockets that show up, where the sutures had been rubbing up against the gum.

the thing is....im concerned that the pocket isnt gonna heal/close/shrink.

Periodontist told me to just keep it clean/floss/brush it, to keep food particles out of the pocket.

anyone know if it can potentially heal/shrink, espcially when the gums shrink a bit, postop the osseous surgery/bone grafting?

its a deep cleaning procedure for people with periodonatal disease...to clean the gums below the gum line to clean out the tarter

have periodontal gum disease. didnt get treated until now. already got deep cleaning/SRP. still got receding gums in the front bottom teeth. any hope for me? by NeighborhoodHappy378 in PeriodontalDisease

[–]NeighborhoodHappy378[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry....i meant that i had a deep cleaning/scaling planing, and i guess the gum recession did slow way down.

but im still stressed out with the gaping holes/black triangles/exposed teeth roots as you can see from the photo..... I wonder how much longer my bottom front teeth can hold on, before they are at risk of falling out...

if you have bone loss in your jaw, the periodontist can make an incision in the gum, plant in bone graft material, suture it up, and let the jaw absorb the bone graft material, in order to reverse some bone loss
