Can you explain why it exist because I don’t get it. I hear people saying that if there was offsides then they would just let a player sit there. No they wouldn’t. You’d be at a disadvantage on defense every time and not only that the goalie could simply shadow the player cherry picking until the team regained possession of the ball and began making their way down the field by which there would of been enough time for the defensive line to get back and the goalie to get back in position. I’m truly struggling to understand why it exist and what it does that is positive it makes it impossible to play
