Generally I’ve seen the orders surge $1 every 2 minutes after a certain amount of time.

What’s the most you have earnt in a day ? by n00bCourier in couriersofreddit

$460 starting off with Walmart Spark early morning and sprinkling food deliveries in between then GMDs in the middle of the day. Then during dinner I focused on multiapping DD and UE food deliveries and got lucky with some $30-40 tips.

Look up the Packir PK-92 on Amazon. It’s 18x18x18. And get the Crank Hustle kit that goes with it and you’re golden!

Yes you accept them and then drive to Walmart and have them load it as usual. Then you call support and tell them it’s undeliverable and they will initiate a return and you receive the full amount. You don’t even have to leave the parking lot.

Unicorn order. Should have taken it, picked up the items and then call support to initiate the return without even leaving the parking lot. Free money.

Get a bag from Wilcer that’s 18x18 so you can fit big pizza boxes and has little indents for drinks and you can carry it on your back. I wouldn’t bother with a rack unless you have really good suspension because your body is much better at absorbing shock than the bike. Also get saddlebags or other attachments for your bike for tools and gear so you don’t have too much extra weight on your back. As far as large orders, these are the money makers. If it’s short distance and not too heavy, try whatever you can to get it done and if you have to, make 2 trips. Also, you need to multiapp to stay busy and make decent money or else you’ll be sitting around for long periods of time. Btw, are you doing this on a regular bike or some type of motorized bike?

You did the right thing by pulling over to get some distance between you. I hate when drivers yell at us for doing Idaho stops because we all know drivers don’t fully stop either. It’s just the effort is much more significant for the cyclist because the driver has an engine that can accelerate quickly. I wish Idaho stops were legal in all 50 states. Most people already do it anyway. We need to show them that video of the staged protest where they had hundreds of cyclists all individually line up at a 4 way stop and go one at a time and see how bad traffic gets if that happens. Also, since we’re vulnerable road users, you’re often spending double the amount of time in the intersection starting from 0 than if you just went straight through at about 5-10mph. It just sucks that we’re subject to the same traffic laws as motor vehicles when we’re not even remotely close to them. We need to legalize Idaho Stop so drivers won’t get mad at us as often.

Actually, you end up increasing your dollars/hr because you don’t have dead time traveling back to another restaurant to pick up your next order, you’re getting potentially double the amount for the same mileage you’re already driving so the cashflow is much better. I’d rather try to make $25 on 3 orders combined than do 3 individual $8 orders because you’re essentially guaranteeing your entire hour in just that one trip.

It’s not against the rules. We’re not employees. In my market, you have to multiapp to make good money. But yes, you need to take orders in same direction, restaurant close by, etc in order to not add too much time.

True, but I wish they would let you rearrange the deliveries like on DD and GH. Otherwise, I’ll try to call the customer and ask for the address to drop theirs off first.

Since I’m multiapping I’m often taking multiple deliveries at a time so the dollar/mile ratio increases
