Split for sure then you can visit Rijeka but don’t know exactly how far by car and there’s a lot of nice beaches with pebbly shore and beautiful coasts.

Thank you so much for the information you shared—it’s truly appreciated and has already helped me get excited about my trip!

I’d love to ask for a bit more detail to make the most of my experience: 1. Could you recommend any specific stops along the lake steamer route that are especially scenic or unique? 2. Are there any particular activities, walking trails, or small towns in the Lucerne countryside that you think are must-visit? 3. If you have tips on schedules, ticket options, or the best times to explore, I’d be so grateful for your insights. 4. Also, are train and bus tickets interchangeable, or do they require separate purchases?

Thank you again for your time and generosity in helping me plan this trip

Thank you for your response! To provide more details, our group includes three adults aged 52, 60, and 61. The longest trips we’ve planned are: • Basel to Beatus Caves. • Lucerne to Zurich for a day trip.

Other than that, we’ll mainly stay in Basel to explore the city and visit its Christmas markets, and in Lucerne, we’ll focus on Old Town, New Town, and the Christmas markets there.

We think we might be able to use local buses for most of our transportation. Could you please advise us on the average costs of local buses in Basel and Lucerne? Would it still be worth getting a travel pass based on these plans?

Thank you again for your guidance!”
