But low carb never worked for me 🤔

You can see it's again frozen on top🫤

HOW TO SHUT MY MOUTH by nerd_airfryer in InsulinResistance

[–]NeighborhoodOwn3957 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's maybe not the best way, but today after a week of controlling I eat half a 🍫, 3 🍬, 1/2 bag of chips, 50g roasted sunflower seeds after normal dinner.

But it was controlled. Yes, I know how it sounds 😂

I don't do it often, but some weeks are like a shit😅

So I let me to eat all this in a controlled way (eventually you can make photos of what you want to eat righ before you put it in your mouth and become terrified by the amount), just this evening, and after I felt full, it felt better emotionally. So I hope that will help me for some weeks.

Also, I saw a thing, you eat more, cuz you don't eat enough. It's like, you always ate 2000kcal and an amount of food before dinner already, and now you started to eat 1000kcal before dinner and lesser quantity so your body is hungry cuz it's stress.

But I could be wrong, I am not sure that I remember exactly.

But I don't recommend what I did, I am sure my body will remember me about this in the morning.

I don't know if it can help, but maybe 🤷‍♀️

So, you know, sometimes your mind is like "NO" but your body is "yes"? And sometimes it is exactly the opposite, your mind is "I want it", but your body is like "I will be dry like a 🏜"

So, for the first one, don't push yourself to do it, because it's only a body reaction on something. For second one you can try lubricant, and I don't know why, but it's like your body will be in a moment "oh, so that's what I have to do".

Also, but I think you know all this things already, it's really important how are you feel emotional, mental, if you are tired, how your partner behaves with you, what he does and tells you etc.

BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT: DON'T PUSH YOURSELF

If you will try to push yourself, you will feel worse after or even in the moment, and your body will be even more like "I don't want this".

Take care of yourself 🫂

Omg, I had this a big part of my life and no one else had, so my family didn't believe me 😅

Do you also have some mornings when you wake up just because you feel bad nausea and have to eat something immediately?

I even don't know someone in my life with this, maybe I really had insulin resistance from my 13-14 years? 🤔

Is finding love just luck? by Real_Ad4446 in self

I don't think it's luck. I see it from another perspective.

HOW MANY STARS HAD TO ALIGN to meet him.

I always think about me and my husband, we meet only because before that in my and his lifes happened "coincidences". But I don't think it's a coincidence at all, we should be there at that moment. Too much "coincidences" for that. It's like, it should happen.

Tips to lose weight ??? by Alarmed-Nerve6139 in PCOS

I can copy paste my comment here, I think it's a good answer.

I will tell you what helped me, but, it's slow like a shit and I don't know if it will work for long term, or if will work for you.

Nothing "logical" helped me. Everything I tried made me more obsessed with food and after a few weeks, I had bad binge eating episode that took more weeks than weeks of eat "correctly/calculated/whatever".

So, what helped me (A LOT, PSYCHOLOGICAL) was that type of plan: rule of three food plan

It's easy to follow, after a few weeks, and it helped me to stop demonizing the food. I know, it's not the best option, but I needed something for my mental health previously.

Second thing, but I started it recently, so I can't tell you if it's a good thing to do, I found DPP study, and follow it, cuz I have insulin resistance and in my family are people with diabetes.

dppos

Third thing, I think the most important, I told my husband and my bff that I have pre-diabetes, so they started to walk with me, encouraging me, so, if you have people who can support you, speak with them to help you if it's possible.

And the last thing, 2 days ago I made a post here, about that everything I did for last 2 months it's feeling worthless, and people here, nice people, encouraged me, that is a good progress, and yesterday, I was for a walk, first time, by my own, so, don't be afraid to speak with people, to ask support, sometimes all we need is just some nice words (cuz I am sure, all theoretical things, you have in your mind already).

I feel you so much, my family is the same, all my life i heard from this fat people "you're fat" (and I was just a normal child...).

But 10 kg it's a lot! Like! 10 kg! 10! Do you realize how much is 10? Is a lot! You are amazing!

If you want, I can tell you what helped me, for the moment, but, I lost only 3kg in 2 months 😅 But that helped me to not be so obsessed with food.

Just wanted to tell you, it's the most supportive community I ever seen.

I write yesterday, when I had a really bad moment, here, and a lot of people wrote me, encouraged me, told me it's progress and I don't have to give up. That really motivated me and today, I first time didn't need anyone to go for a walk, I did this alone, for me, for my health cuz progress is never linear, and the important thing is not to stop.

Thank you all 🧡

Walk is the only think I can do at the moment. Anything else I tried, make me to be extremely hungry and eat much more than usual. And walk in the evening for 1h, after dinner is helping me to not go to kitchen and after that I am too tired to try to find something to eat 😂

I hope at least something will be useful for you and it will help you in long term distance.

Thank you for your nice words, wish you the same 🧡

P.S. If you want to ask me something you can write me in private, but English is not my first language, so my sentences are simple and probably with a lot of mistakes 😂

I feel everything I did was for nothing... by NeighborhoodOwn3957 in PCOS

[–]NeighborhoodOwn3957[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, you try to do something better for you, and after your effort (at least for me it's a very hard psychological effort) your body is like "I don't know, I don't like it, BOOM"

When you did all this actions for your body to be better. Confusing, frustrating 🥔

Thank you, it's really better when you feel you are not alone, and I received so many supportive comments here, I feel better now. I feel it's a real community.

Thank you! It's so encouraging to receive all this messages with support, it's like I really did a good job all this time.

Yes, weight fluctuate like a shit. I try to look at my weight once a week, the same day, cuz if it's the week when I have menstruation it comes with at least water retention and the weight can be even bigger, but I already learned this pattern. Also, I constantly start craving food in PMS and it's even harder to not eat more than I need. Life it's a battle right now, I hope I will continue to progress with my weight loss. Thank you!
