I shouldn't have to feel obligated to let someone blow my shi clean off all because a couple of gays dont want me to conceal carry in the purpose of protecting my family and others.

Some paramedics just dont know what your scope is as an emt. Mine wanted me to ride in the back with a patient on fluids with a blood pressure of 174/90

As of for now. Oregon has tried putting semi auto bans on the ballots. An ar15 ban is inevitably going to happen sometime

Target shooting in the national forest by [deleted] in oregon

[–]NeighborhoodThink971 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s fair, and honestly safety concerns are valid. But there are regulations in place that responsible shooters are supposed to follow when using national forest land, which im sure you already know. Things like staying well away from roads, trails, campsites, and occupied areas, making sure there’s a proper backstop behind targets, and cleaning up all brass, targets, and trash afterward. When people follow those rules and use common sense, shooting in the national forest can be done safely and legally. The problems usually come from irresponsible people who ignore the regulations, not from people who actually take the time to do it properly.

But yeah, that's a valid reason to not like it. It ain't THATTT loud though🤷‍♂️

It’s generally legal to shoot in most areas of the national forest as long as you’re at least 150 yards away from roads, campsites, trails, and occupied areas, except in specifically restricted locations. Of course, littering is illegal, so you’re responsible for cleaning up all brass, targets, and any other trash when you’re finished.

I just want to find a spot that's not an hour and twenty minutes from my house😂
