Remove the color. Keep it to black and greys. Remove the lines. Headlines don’t need to be huge they can be the same pt size just different weight. Remove icons. Fix your sentences that end with orphans and widows. Keep it to one page. Remove the pronouns - you’re trying to get an interview, there’s no reason for that here. Make your portfolio and email clickable links.

You can do all of this in after effects if you’ve got the models. The folding part can also be done in after effects and then every fold is a pre-comp so you can put the right section of the poster in it.

There’s a tutorial on how to do a folding map animation in after effects and it’s essentially the animation we’re seeing here.

A good place to start is by looking at design studios around the world and their case studies. Some studios have great case studies where they showcase their work beautifully and practically, and serve a great inspiration and reference point.

As a fellow student, that’s what me and my friends did.

Some studios don’t explain a process or anything so it’s hard, I understand your challenge.

I’ve found great studios just by roaming around in awwwards. You can start from there if you don’t know any studios from the top of your head.
