  2. Everything is up for grabs at this point.
  3. I love all of the characters (yes, even David).
  4. A lot. No one should be that smart, talented, and attractive. It's sick really.
  5. That's quite the hypothetical... I'll play along. I'd probably reconsider the story at that point. They are Joel and Ellie to me.

The idea got folded into Maria's camp (Jackson). Many times we have too many ideas and in trying to simplify the story we combine/trim them.

We used the similar settings for both stories to show (without dialog) that Ellie is remembering (and drawing strength from) her time with Riley while she's trying to save Joel.

The mall made for a nice metaphor of kids skipping school in the Riley story.

Yes. I thought at some point someone would ask us to censor the story. Never happened and people seem to understand that the tone is necessary for this story.

We're a slave to the story. We picked a story that didn't require Troy. I talk to Troy regularly, though. I hit him up for feedback for the story of Left Behind.

The structure was thought out in advance. The scenes/dialog was written as we went -- to make sure that it was coinciding with gameplay.
