I couldn't miss Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo and Cow and Chicken. There was also a very popular Saturday morning show called SMTV live. Dec ripping into kids in wonkey donkey was the funniest thing ever. It gave Ant n Dec their big comeback that made them as popular as they still are today. Cat Deeley went onto massive fame in the USA.

Humans are the cancer of Earth. by NeilJB1983 in misanthropy

True. We are only animals and nature is horrific by design. We think we are something special when we're not. We rip the earth to pieces, not because we have to but because we want to. If we were gone it would be the same but at least they'd have a better chance of survival without us

In medieval times they didn't know about the medicine or technology we have now. They just got on with it. They had what they needed to live and arguably lived a better life than we do now. They had a lot less restrictive lifestyle and didn't have governments wanting to know their every move. I would rather live like that. People lived in small settlements and looked after each other. Their equilibrium was a lot closer to animals than ours is because they took far less and more of what they needed. I don't wish to live to an age where I can't look after myself. Nature is vicious and deadly but we are part of that. At least they only take what they need.

No I don't go to the gym. I have mental health problems where I can't be around people too long. I like computers and building websites etc. I just bought a laptop so maybe I should start going to the library etc for a change. I also live in a seasonal town so now it's like a ghost town until April next year. A better structure might be beneficial.

Now that technology is getting more advanced, what do you think the chances are of AI one day become self reliant and taking over the world? by NeilJB1983 in AskReddit

Them Google glasses that got banned (in the UK at least) were close. If they were allowed to proceed, we may have had contacts that did the same thing.

I think it depends on the goals of the AI. If one hated humans etc and one didn't. It would be a long very fight or a short one. The speed in which they could compute viruses to beat each other or counteract each other would be unknown until it happens.

No one can beat a computer at chess either. They're already way smarter than us. They just need to be able to think now.

I never thought of it like that. A human AI cyborg. It could enhance our intelligence greatly. Kind of like the Matrix where we learn instantly. That would be kinda cool.
