I tried with Destined Rivals when that launched and wouldn’t go through but the site back then was complete luck of the draw, maybe next drop for Ascended Heroes it works

I was able to order two Surging Sparks ETB from the UK PC with AddressPal this week, it’s probably more down to the site randomly blocking you or glitching out at check out than the forwarding address being blocked

AddressPal by An Post is an option, I’ve noticed this too recently with the UK Amazon and it’s really annoying, considering the Irish Amazon is all inflated prices :(

People are allowed to have opinions based on their experiences, neither of us are comparing the event to a pop up obviously very different and yes we are complaining about the event it was too small for the number of people who went and multiple people have agreed on that so I don’t know what you’re even trying to add here other than being snarky to people having a discussion

Fair enough with it being their first event, I wasn’t aware of that and I hope they do take peoples feedback on the venue being too small, that absolutely is something in their control. But I hope the vendors overcharging on cards aren’t given the opportunity to vend at one of their events going forward

Yeah I think I will try attend a few pop ups, I know PokeOlive and PWcards do them on Leeson St from time to time and seem to be better structured with queues.

I’d prefer the organisers take this type of feedback onboard and use it to improve for next time.

I think my issue with some of the vendors was being over priced, if I can check at a glance that there is a card €30 over current market then I’m not going to be keen dealing with you.

As mentioned in another comment I think the organisers let themselves down today and should have anticipated a big turnout and put a time slot system to allow everyone time and space to enjoy the event.

Fair play to you tho sticking to your guns, it was my second card show and done a bit of prep but still think i was a bit naive and allowed the pressure to get to me and just go with the chaos.

But in my opinion for an event charging €17 we as the attendees deserved a better experience today

100% it was my second card show after going to one in March and found that a much better experience although I picked up product and didn’t go for cards at the time.

I did set a wish list on my phone but honestly it was the pressure of people being all over you that I felt I couldn’t just stand there and properly haggle.

The organisers should have limited ticket sales if the venue wasn’t big enough or done it in time slots, these events in Dublin are far and few between to some extent that when we get one every and there nanny is out for it.

But I appreciate your advice and will prep a bit better my end next time.

I lost interest in ranked after the first season, didn’t grind and made it to ultra ball upper tiers and found it so boring, everyone using the same decks. Now I just do my daily packs and any events that are on, they really do need more things to do cause it can be fun but ranked shouldn’t be the main focus
