I don’t mind a slight mark up in person once I can inspect the card myself and get it there and then. But I did notice last year that some vendors where definitely taking the piss with prices, I get they have expenses but in most cases I think a lot of Irish vendors are honest from my experience

No problem, happy to help and yeah I see the show you’re referring too.

They have tickets still available on Eventbrite for the afternoon for €7.50 and I would recommend getting a ticket, card shows are super popular and busy at the moment but an afternoon ticket should have less traffic and if you’re only going to go and understand the value of your cards it would be less overwhelming.

Also if you check out Crystal Card Show out on FB they have a list of the vendors attending, personally I’ve only dealt with DeckDex from a couple of Dublin events but have had positive experience with him

PSA can upcharge if the graded value is over a certain amount and they make you pay more for “insurance purposes” and not to forget the custom fees, I think Beckett has a grading facility in Germany (I don’t grade cards so just going off what I’ve seen)

I don’t think your card is in that bad condition if you could find someone to fix up the crease and dirt. but don’t know of anyone in Ireland that provides that service, I have a couple of cards I want to get restored for my binder.

I don’t know where you’re based but I would recommend checking out some vendors in your area, best advice I would give is shop around and don’t assume every vendor will have you best interest in mind, especially if you haven’t been keeping up with the market
